Abstract

Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, ABK, Tunarungu   ABSTRACT Islamic Religious Education is one of the subjects that must be taught at every level, pathway and type of education including special schools (SLB). Ideally, this learning can be felt by all students without exception for students with special needs such as deaf students. However, in reality there are still many problems faced in the implementation of PAI learning in this special school. This study aims to empirically describe and analyze PAI learning for Deaf students in special schools. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study. The researcher became the key instrument to obtain data sourced from sources and field activities through data collection techniques of observation, interview, and documentation. Four steps of data analysis in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification were used by researchers in data analysis. In general, this study found that the implementation of PAI in SLB has its own uniqueness when compared to other public schools which includes the uniqueness of the profile of SLB that organizes education for deaf children, the characteristics of educators and students, the learning process of PAI for deaf children, to the evaluation of learning.
