Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan membaca pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar yaitu keterampilan membaca nyaring. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kesulitan membaca nyaring yang masih banyak terjadi oleh siswa kelas III, seperti pelafalan dan volume suara yang kurang jelas. Peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan model Cooperative Script berbantuan aplikasi Let’s Read untuk mengatasi kesulitan membaca nyaring tersebut. Subjek yang diteliti yaitu siswa kelas IIIB di SDN 247 Sukapura yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam memperoleh data yaitu lembar observasi dan tes lisan keterampilan membaca nyaring. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan: 1) Aktivitas pembelajaran siswa kelas IIIB di SDN 247 Sukapura memiliki peningkatan, pada siklus I skor aktivitas siswa sebesar 75% dan pada siklus II skor aktivitas siswa sebesar 100%, dan 2) Keterampilan membaca nyaring siswa kelas IIIB memiliki peningkatan nilai, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 70,12 dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 86,2 sehingga peningkatan yang didapatkan sebesar 16,08 poin. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Cooperative Script berbantuan aplikasi Let’s Read dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring siswa sekolah dasar. ----- One of the reading skills in Indonesian language subjects in elementary schools is the skill of reading aloud. This classroom action research was conducted to find out the difficulties of reading aloud that often occur in grade III elementary school students, such as unclear pronunciation and voice volume. The researcher used the classroom action research method by applying the cooperative script model, assisted by the Let's Read application, to overcome the difficulty of reading aloud. The subjects studied were class IIIB students of SDN 247 Sukapura, totaling 25 students. The instruments used to obtain data were observation sheets and oral tests of reading-aloud skills. Based on the results of the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that: 1) the learning activities of students in class IIIB SDN 247 Sukapura have increased; in cycle I, the student activity score is 75%, and in cycle II, the student activity score is 100%; and 2) the reading aloud skills of grade IIIB students have increased; in cycle I, the average student score was 70.12, and in cycle II, the average student score was 86.2, so that the increase obtained was 16.08 points. Thus, the application of the cooperative script model, assisted by the Let's Read application, can improve the reading aloud skills of elementary school students.
