Abstract

Proses karya kreatif novel “Selamanya Cinta” merupakan pertanggung jawaban
karya berupa konsep dan proses yang dilakukan selama penggarapan. Novel
“Selamanya Cinta” merupakan representasi dari kehidupan manusia dengan
kesalahpahaman yang sering terjadi di kehidupan manusia. Novel ini merupakan
rangkaian pengalaman dan pikiran dari penulis dalam menghadapi kehidupan.
Tujuan penciptaan novel ini adalah untuk menuangkan kegelisahan penulis
mengenai kesalahpahaman, serta menjawab kegelisahan manusia lain secara
keseluruhan dalam menjalani kehidupan. Konsep penciptaan untuk menghasilkan
karya ini menggunakan konsep ABR (Art Based Research). Penelitian berbasis
seni (ABR) ialah pendekatan seni untuk penelitian yang di dalamnya penciptaan
seni merupakan bagian integral dari proses penelitian. Metode penciptaan
dilakukan dengan lima tahapan utama yaitu inspirasi, inkubasi, persiapan,
penulisan, revisi. Tahap pertama yaitu inspirasi. Di tahap ini seorang pengarang
telah menyadari apa yang akan ia tulis dan bagaimana menuliskannya. Tahap
kedua adalah tahap inkubasi. Pada tahap ini, gagasan yang sudah muncul,
biasanya akan disimpan dan dipikirkan kembali oleh pengarang secara matang,
dan menunggu waktu yang tepat untuk menuangkannya. Tahap selanjutnya adalah
tahap persiapan. Pada tahap ini penulis menuangkannya dalam bentuk tulisan.
Kemudian tahap penulisan. Pada tahap ini, penulis menyalurkan semua
ide/gagasan ke dalam bentuk tulisan. Terakhir, tahap revisi. Pada tahap ini,
penulis akan membaca kembali dan memeriksa hasil karyanya. Karya kreatif
novel “Selamanya Cinta” ini berisi tentang kesalahpahaman yang terjadi dalam
kehidupan manusia. Kesalahpahaman bisa diatasi dengan cara berkomunikasi
yang baik.

The creative work process for the novel "Forever Love" is a responsibility for the
work in the form of concepts and processes carried out during its creation. The
novel "Forever Love" is a representation of human life with the
misunderstandings that often occur in human life. This novel is a series of
experiences and thoughts from the author in facing life. The purpose of creating
this novel is to express the author's anxiety regarding misunderstandings, as well
as answering the overall anxiety of other humans in living life. The creation
concept to produce this work uses the ABR (Art Based Research) concept. Arts-
based research (ABR) is an arts approach to research in which the creation of art
is an integral part of the research process. The creation method is carried out in
five main stages, namely inspiration, incubation, preparation, writing, revision.
The first stage is inspiration. At this stage an author realizes what he will write
and how to write it. The second stage is the incubation stage. At this stage, the
ideas that have emerged will usually be stored and thought over carefully by the
author, and wait for the right time to express them. The next stage is the
preparation stage. At this stage the writer must be sensitive to immediately put it
in written form. Then the writing stage. At this stage, the writer channels all ideas
into written form. Lastly, the revision stage. At this stage, the author will read
again and check his work. The creative work of the novel "Forever Love" is about
misunderstandings that occur in human life. Misunderstandings can be overcome
by good communication.
