Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study discusses the profile of numeracy questions in the mid-semester 
assessment (PTS) and year-end assessment (PAT) in Biology subjects in SMA 
(Senior High ][\School). The purpose of this study was to determine the profile 
of numeracy questions made by Biology subject teachers in student assessment 
assessments in even semesters in T.A 2022/2023. Biology is one of the subjects 
that has many abstract concepts so that it only has a few topic concepts that can 
be used as numeracy questions at each grade level. The research method used in 
this research is descriptive research by taking a research sample of Senior High 
Schools (SMA) in Cianjur Regency. The number of schools used in this study was 
8 schools with a ratio of 50:50, namely 4 public schools and 4 private schools. 
Data collection was carried out through analysis of questions on student 
assessment at midterm (PTS) and end of year (PAT) and interviews with Biology 
subject teachers. The results of the research through the analysis of the questions 
obtained show that the number of numeracy questions made in the assessment 
assessment is around 10-30% of the total assessment questions. Numerical 
questions made in the assessment have increased in the End of Year Assessment 
(PAT) by 11% compared to the Midterm Assessment (PTS). Meanwhile, the 
results of research through interviews to find out the teacher's understanding of 
numeracy questions in Biology subjects show the misconceptions and difficulties 
experienced by teachers in making numeracy questions on student assessment 
assessments.

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini membahas tentang profil soal numerasi dalam asesmen penilaian 
tengah semester (PTS) dan penilaian akhir tahun (PAT) pada mata pelajaran 
Biologi di SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk 
mengetahui profil soal numerasi yang dibuat oleh guru mata pelajaran Biologi 
dalam asesmen penilaian siswa pada semester genap di T.A 2022/2023. Mata 
pelajaran Biologi merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang memiliki banyak 
konsep abstrak sehingga hanya memiliki sedikit konsep topik yang dapat 
dijadikan soal numerasi pada tiap tingkatan jenjang kelas. Metode penelitian yang 
digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan mengambil 
sampel penelitian Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kabupaten Cianjur. Jumlah 
sekolah yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 8 sekolah dengan 
perbandingan 50:50 yaitu 4 sekolah negeri dan 4 sekolah swasta. Pengumpulan 
data dilakukan melalui analisis soal pada asesmen penilaian siswa pada tengah 
semester (PTS) dan akhir tahun (PAT) dan wawancara dengan guru mata 
pelajaran Biologi. Hasil penelitian melalui analisis soal yang didapatkan 
menunjukkan jumlah soal numerasi yang dibuat dalam asesmen penilaian sekitar 
10-30% dari total keseluruhan soal asesmen. Soal numerasi yang dibuat dalam 
asesmen penilaian mengalami peningkatan pada Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT) 
sebesar 11% dibandingkan pada Penilaian Tengah Semester (PTS). Sementara itu 
hasil penelitian melalui wawancara untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru 
mengenai soal numerasi pada mata pelajaran Biologi menunjukkan adanya 
miskonsepsi dan kesulitan yang dialami oleh guru dalam pembuatan soal 
numerasi pada asesmen penilaian siswa.
