Abstract

Kreativitas merupakan kemampuan untuk menemukan atau memunculkan ide atau gagasan baru yang sebelumnya belum ada. Namun, kreativitas di dekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini dapat disebabkan dari beberapa faktor, salah satunya yaitu penggunaan metode atau model pembelajaran yang konvensional. Kemampuan kreativitas peserta didik dapat dikembangkan dalam model Project Based Learning (PjBL) yang mendukung abad 21. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui efektivitas model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dan membandingkan hasil kreativitas siswa yang menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dengan siswa yang menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional di kelas IV sekolah dasar dalam materi daur ulang kerajinan dari plastik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model Project Based Learning sebagai solusi untuk melatih kreativitas peserta didk. Hasil perhitungan N-Gain skor pretest dan posttest dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol bahwa penggunaan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) menghasilkan tingkat efektivitas yang cukup baik sedangkan kelompok kontrol menunjukkan ketidakefektifan dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kreativitas siswa sekolah dasar yang menggunakan model Project Based Leaning (PjBL) dalam dibandingkan dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan model Project Based Leaning (PjBL) dalam pembelajaran daur ulang sampah plastik. Hal dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelas yang menerapkan model Project Based Leaning (PjBL) lebih unggul dalam kreativitas dibandingkan dengan kelas yang tidak menggunakan model Project Based Leaning (PjBL). -------------- Creativity is the ability to find or come up with new ideas or ideas that have not previously existed. However, creativity in elementary schools is still relatively low. This can be caused by several factors, one of which is the use of conventional learning methods or models. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving student creativity and comparing the results of student creativity using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model with students using a conventional learning approach in grade IV elementary school in the material of recycling crafts from plastic. The results showed that the Project Based Learning model is a solution to train students' creativity. The results of the N-Gain calculation of the pretest and posttest scores of the experimental and control classes show that the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model produces a fairly good level of effectiveness while the control group shows ineffectiveness in learning. Based on the results of the Paired Sample T-Test test, it can be concluded that there are differences in the creativity of elementary school students who use the Project Based Leaning (PjBL) model compared to students who do not use the Project Based Leaning (PjBL) model in learning to recycle plastic waste. It can be concluded that classes that apply the Project Based Leaning (PjBL) model are superior in creativity compared to classes that do not use the Project Based Leaning (PjBL) model.
