Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya karakter percaya diri seorang anak dalam menghafal Al-Qur'an karena faktor keluarga dan lingkungan sosialnya. Karakter percaya diri tidak akan terbentuk secara begitu saja, melainkan dengan adanya pembiasaan dan pembinaan secara rutin. Peristiwa tersebut menjadi landasan peneliti untuk mengaplikasikan pendidikan karakter sedini mungkin khususnya untuk anak usia sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pembinaan karakter percaya diri dan implikasi pembinaan karakter percaya diri melalui program Hafalan Al-Qur’an yang telah diimplementasikan di Yayasan Rumah Qur’an Qurrotu A’yun Serang Banten. Oleh karena itu, peneliti diperlukan untuk mengetahui terlebih dahulu proses pelaksanaan program hafalan serta karakter percaya diri dengan karakteristik tertentu yang terdapat pada kegiatan hafalan Al-Qur’an ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang menjadi subjek dari penelitian ini adalah Pengajar, siswa kelas IV, V dan VI. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Qur’an Qurrotu A’yun Serang Banten. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan terhadap proses pelaksanaan program hafalan Al-Qur’an menunjukan adanya pembinaan karakter percaya diri siswa dengan karakteristik tertentu. Bukti adanya implikasi dari program hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap karakter percaya diri siswa dapat dilihat dari banyaknya siswa yang menjawab tepat dengan persentase 95,5% dan 4,5% siswa tidak menjawab dengan tepat. Hal tersebut menunjukan program hafalan Al-Qur’an memiliki peran dalam pembinaan karakter percaya diri anak. Oleh karena itu, program hafalan dapat menjadi alternatif kegiatan yang dapat membina karakter percaya diri siswa. This research is motivated by the low self-confidence of a child in memorizing the Qur'an due to family factors and the social environment. Confident character will not just be formed, but through regular habituation and coaching. This incident became the basis for researchers to apply character education as early as possible, especially for elementary school age children. This research aims to determine the process of developing self-confident character and the implications of developing self-confident character through the Al-Qur'an Memorization program which has been implemented at the Rumah Qur'an Qur'an Qurrotu A'yun Serang Banten Foundation. Therefore, researchers need to know in advance the process of implementing the memorization program and the character of self-confidence with certain characteristics found in this Al-Qur'an memorization activity. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, the subjects of this research are teachers, students in grades IV, V and VI. This research was conducted at the Qur'an House Qurrotu A'yun Serang Banten. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the analysis that has been carried out on the process of implementing the Al-Qur'an memorization program, it shows that there is development of students' self-confident character with certain characteristics. Evidence of the implications of the Al-Qur'an memorization program for students' self-confident character can be seen from the number of students who answered correctly with a percentage of 95.5% and 4.5% of students did not answer correctly. This shows that the Al-Qur'an memorization program has a role in developing children's self-confident character. Therefore, memorization programs can be an alternative activity that can develop students' self-confident character.
