Abstract

Fenomena selebriti yang terus bermunculan menyebabkan beberapa kalangan memiliki kecenderungan perilaku hubungan parasosial, termasuk siswa sekolah menengah. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan ini untuk membantu siswa mengurangi perilaku hubungan parasosial dengan penggunaan Teknik self management. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Single Subject Research (SSR) dan desain reversal A-B-A juga digunakan dalam penelitian. Instrument skala sikap selebriti digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data kecenderungan sikap hubungan parasosial. Empat subjek penelitian diambil dari 360 partisipan yang mengisi instrumen penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu non tes berupa inventori. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari ke empat subjek tersebut terdapat peningkatan skor ke arah yang positif. Hasil tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu referensi bahwa bimbingan self management dapat digunakan untuk mereduksi perilaku hubungan parasosial. The celebrity phenomenon that continues to emerge has caused several groups to have a tendency towards parasocial relationship behavior, including high school students. The aim of this research is to help students reduce parasocial relationship behavior by using self-management techniques. A quantitative approach was used in this research. Single Subject Research (SSR) and A-B-A reversal designs were also used in the research. The celebrity attitude scale instrument was used to collect data on attitudes towards parasocial relationships. Four research subjects were taken from 360 participants who filled out the research instrument. The data collection technique is non-test in the form of an inventory. The results of the research showed that for the four subjects there was an increase in scores in a positive direction. These results can be used as a reference that self-management guidance can be used to reduce parasocial relationship behavior.
