Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh prototype e-book interaktif berbasis intertekstual pada materi ikatan kimia dan mengetahui kelayakan dari prototype e-book. Pengembangan prototype e-book ini ditujukan untuk memperoleh media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Pendidikan 4.0, sesuai dengan karakteristik multipel representasi pada ilmu kimia. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Model Research and Development dengan lima tahap pertama yang dijalankan yaitu tahap tahap Penelitian dan Pengumpulan Data, Perencanaan, Pengembangan Bentuk Produk Awal, Uji Lapangan Terbatas, dan Revisi Hasil Uji Lapangan Terbatas. Hasil dari tahap analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa hingga saat ini, media pembelajaran sejenis berupa e-book yang telah dibuat sudah tidak dapat diakses kembali sehingga diperlukan media pembelajaran baru. Prototype e-book interaktif berbasis intertekstual diujikan kelayakannya pada tiga aspek, yaitu aspek substansi kimia, aspek penggunaan bahasa, dan aspek tampilan komunikasi visual. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan yang dilakukan, prototype e-book yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi 14 kriteria kelayakan susbtansi kimia, 9 kriteria kelayakan aspek penggunaan bahasa, dan 15 kriteria kelayakan aspek tampilan komunikasi visual. Secara umum, prototype e-book telah memenuhi aspek kelayakan yang diujikan. Kata Kunci: e-book, interaktif, intertekstual, ikatan kimia, multipel representasi This research aims to obtain a prototype of an interactive intertext-based e-book on chemical bond topic and to determine the eligibility of the prototype. The development of the e-book prototype is done to obtain learning media that corresponds to the need of Education 4.0, and that’s also in accordance with the multiple representations trait of chemistry. This research utilizes the Research and Development Model as its research design with only five of its steps are done to develop the e-book prototype, which are the Research and Information Collection, Planning, Develop Preliminary Form of Product, Preliminary Field Testing, and Main Product Revision. Results from the necessity research show that currently, some research have been done to obtain similar learning media, but most of them have been shown to be obsolete to be used today. The eligibility of this e-book prototype was tested by various experts on three aspects, the chemistry substance, language usage, and visual communication display. Based on the eligibility test result, the e-book prototype that was developed has reached the 14 chemistry substance criteria, 9 language usage criteria, and 15 visual communication display criteria.
