Abstract
Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada dapat menyebabkan peserta didik tidak terlalu fokus dalam belajar, tidak memiliki motivasi dalam belajar IPS sehingga hasilnya rendah. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa KBM IPS di kelas IVB SD Negeri Cikulur Kota Serang mengalami banyak kesulitan. Peneliti membicarakan dengan pendidik tentang solusi pemecahan masalah melalui model Think Pair Share, yang diajarkan melalui video. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan judul Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pembelajaran IPS Melalui Model Kooperatif Learning Tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) Di SD Negeri Cikulur.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif.Berdasarkan pengertian PTK sebelumnya, jenis penelitian ini adalah PTK. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan kinerja pendidik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran agar hasil belajar IPS peserta didik meningkat. Untuk mencapai tujuan, model pembelajaran kooperatif learning tipe TPS (Think Pair Share) diterapkan pada topik keberagaman budaya di lingkungan sekiitar.Hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang di aktivitas pra siklus jumlah peserta didik kelas IVB sebanyak 27 peserta didik dengan KKM 75 cuma 11 persentase (40, 7%) yang sanggup menggapai KKM. Sedangkan itu sisanya masih 16 peserta didik persentase (59, 2%) belum menggapai KKM dan rata- rata kelas cuma menggapai (69%). Berikutnya, hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang sesudah mempraktikkan model koooperatif learning tipe think pair share mengalami kenaikan. Pada siklus I nilai rata- rata uji akhir merupakan 73, 8% peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM sebanyak 17 peserta didik persentase (62,9%) serta yang belum menggapai nilai KKM sebanyak 10 peserta didik persentase (37%). Setelah itu pada siklus II, nilai rata- rata peserta didik pada uji akhir jadi 78,5, peserta didik yang mendapat nilai diatas KKM sebanyak 23 peserta didik persentase (85,1%) serta yang belum menggapai nilai KKM cuma 4 peserta didik persentase (14, 8%).Model kooperatif leafning think pair share yang diterapkan di kelas IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang telah memberikan perubahan yang luar biasa dalam latihan belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prestasi peserta didik berada pada kategori baik pada siklus I dan sangat baik di siklus II. Demikian juga, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam tindakan pendidik dan prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share dalam kegiatan belajar kelas IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang. Based on the existing problems can cause students are not too focused in learning, do not have motivation in learning social studies so that the results are low. The results of observations showed that social studies in class IVB SD Negeri Cikulur Serang City experienced many difficulties. Researchers discussed with educators about problem solving solutions through the Think Pair Share model, which is taught through video. Basedon this background, the researcher is interested in conducting classroom action research with the title Improving the Learning Outcomes of Students in Social Studies Learning Through the TPS (Think Pair Share) Type of Cooperative Learning Model at Cikulur StateElementary School.This research uses aqualitative approach. In learning activities in classIV SD Negeri Cikulur Kota Serang, researchers try to take certain actions or efforts. The purpose of this research is to develop the performance of educators in implementing learning so that the social studies learning outcomes of students increase. To achieve the goal, the TPS (Think Pair Share) type cooperative learning model is applied to the topic ofcultural diversity in the surrounding environment. The learning outcomes of students in social studies class IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang in pre-cycle activities, the number of students in class IVB was 27 students with KKM 75, only 11 percentages (40,7%) were able to reach KKM. Meanwhile, the remaining 16 students, percentage (59,2%) have not reached the KKM and the class average only reaches (69%). Next, the learning outcomes of students in class IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang after practicing the cooperative learningmodel of think pair share faced an increase. In cycle I, the average value of the final test was 73,8% of students who scored above the KKM were 17 students, percentage (62,9%) and those who had not reached the KKM were 10 students, percentage (37%). After that incycle II, the average value of students in the final test was 78, 5, students who scored abovethe KKM were 23 students, percentage (85, 1%) and those who had not reached the KKMwere only 4 students, percentage (14, 8%). The cooperative model of leafning think pair share applied in class IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang has provided remarkable changes inthe learning practice of students. The results showed that learners' achievement was in thegood category in cycle I and very good in cycle II. Likewise, the results showed an improvement in educators' actions and learners' learning achievement by applying the cooperative learning model of think pair share type in the learning activities of class IVB SDN Cikulur Kota Serang.
