Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan pemahaman siswa antara yang menerapkan model problem based learning dengan yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning di SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain non equivalent (pre test - post test) Control-Group Design. Yang menjadi populasi adalah kelas XI Akuntansi, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI Akuntansi 4 yang berjumlah 37 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI Akuntansi 2 yang berjumlah 37 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan Uji Mann Whitney atau Uji U. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pemahaman siswa antara yang menerapkan model problem based learning dengan yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran problem based learning. Kata Kunci : Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning, Pemahaman Siswa This research was conducted to determine whether there are the differences between the students’ understanding which applying problem based learning model with do not apply problem based learning model at SMK Negeri 3 Bandung. This research was using a quasi experimental method with non-equivalent (pre test – post test) Control Group Design. The population is XI Accounting class, the sample in this research were XI Accounting 4 class, amounting to 37 students as an experimental class and XI Accounting 2 class totaling 37 students as the control class. Hypothesis testing was using the Mann Whitney Test or U Test. The result of this research showed there were differences between the students’ understanding which applying problem based learning model with do not apply problem based learning model.
