Abstract

Penelitian ini berdasar dari tiga permasalahan yang terdapat pada pembelajaran memproduksi teks anekdot, yakni siswa kesulitan menemukan ide kreatif menulis sehingga waktu pembelajaran tidak efektif, penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kurang menekankan interaksi antara sesama siswa, dan penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang kreatif. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa menulis teks anekdot dengan cara menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran komik strip. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Pasundan 3 Bandung. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-3 yang berjumlah 34 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terjadi peningkatan keterampilan siswa menulis teks anekdot. Peningkatan tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian praktik siswa menulis anekdot selama dua kali siklus penelitian. Pada siklus 1 rata-rata nilai praktik menulis anekdot siswa yakni 67,68. Pada siklus 2 rata-rata nilai praktik menulis anekdot siswa meningkat menjadi 85,58. Kata kunci: Menulis Teks Anekdot, CIRC, Komik Strip, PTK. This study based on three problems which existed in learning anecdote text creation, which are students had a difficulty in proposing their creative idea in writing so the allocation time of learning activity was not effective, the use of teaching method which did not emphasize on the interaction between students, and the use of media which was not creative. This study attempted to increase students writing skill in creating anecdote text by implementing cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) and by using comic strip as teaching media. The methodology used in the study was classroom action research (CAR). This study was conducted in SMA Pasundan 3 Bandung in which the subject of the study was 34 students of grade ten. The result of the study showed that there was an enhancement of students’ skill in writing anecdote text. This enhancement could be seen from the result of students’ practicum score in two cycles of the research. In the first cycle, the average of the students’ practicum score in writing anecdote text was 67, 68. In the second cycle, the average of the students’ practicum score was increase to 85, 58.
