Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh media fishbone diagram yang belum digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar, serta keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi horatori peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Cigembor masih diluar harapan. Hal ini mengakibatkan tidak sedikit peserta didik merasa kesulitan bahkan salah saat menulis teks eksposisi hortatori, khususnya dalam hal stuktur atau kerangka teks eksposisi hortatori itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu penggunaan media fishbone diagram diharapkan mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi hortatori peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media fishbone diagram terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi hortatori peserta didik di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih 2 bulan terhitung mulai dari bulan Mei sampai dengan Juni tahun 2023 di kelas IV SDN 1 Cigembor, Ciamis. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan pre-experimental design tipe one group pretest-postest design. Data penelitian yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara melakukan tes awal (pretest) dan tes akhir (posttest) untuk membandingkan adanya peningkatan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya perlakuan (treatment). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa penggunaan media fishbone diagram berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata tes awal (pretest) sebesar 68,51 dan tes akhir (posttest) sebesar 88,39 peserta didik setelah diberikan perlakuan (treatment) dan hasil pengujian hipotesis yang menunjukan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima sehingga media fishbone diagram ini berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi hortatori peserta didik kelas IV SDN 1 Cigembor This research is motivated by the fishbone diagram media which has not been used in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools, and the writing skills of horatorical exposition texts of class IV students at SDN 1 Cigembor are still beyond expectations. This resulted in many students finding it difficult and even making mistakes wh en writing hortatory exposition texts, especially in terms of the structure or framework of the hortatory exposition text itself. Therefore the use of fishbone diagram media is expected to be able to improve students' writing skills of hortatory exposition texts. This study aims to determine the effect of using fishbone diagram media on students' writing skills of hortatory exposition texts in elementary schools. This research was conducted for approximately 2 months starting from May to June 2023 in class IV SDN 1 Cigembor, Ciamis. The research approach used in this study was an experimental type of quantitative research using a pre experimental design type one group pretest posttest design. The research data obtained in this study was by conducting pretest s and posttests to compare the increase before and after the treatment. The results of this study stated that the use of fishbone diagram media had an effect on the skills of writing exposition texts as evidenced by the increase in the average value of the initial test (pretest) of 68.51 and the final test (posttest) of 88.39 students after being given treatment (treatment). and the results of hypothesis testing show that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted so that this fishbone diagram media affects the writ ing skills of hortatory exposition texts of class IV students at SDN 1 Cigembor.
