    Abstract

    Circuit training is an exercise using several posts that are arranged in such a way
    as to increase overall strength in the body. This study aimed to analyze the
    application of circuit training to locomotor movement skills in physical education
    learning in elementary schools. The method used was a quantitative experiment.
    The population of this study were all upper elementary students at Suryakencana
    CBM Sukabumi State Elementary School, while the samples were 73 upperclass
    students at Suryakencana State Elementary School CBM Sukabumi. In sampling,
    the researcher used a proportial random sampling, technique. Researcher used the
    instrument alternate-hand wall-toss as a tool to determine locomotor activity. The
    research results showed the average pretest value was 21.808. The average posttest
    value was 24,918. This indicates that circuit training has an effect on the locomotor
    activity of students.
