Abstract
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengukur kemampuan power endurance lengan pada cabang olahraga yang menuntut gerak yang explosive dengan kekuatan yang maksimal (maximum strength) dan untuk mengetahui derajat validitas dan reliabilitas dari konstruksi alat ukur power endurance lengan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain pretest and posttest. Sampel penelitian ini adalah beberapa atlet putra-puteri yang tergabung dalam Pemusatan Latihan Daerah (PELATDA) Jawa Barat serta Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) UPI cabang olahraga karate, tinju, dan panjat tebing yang tergabung dalam Pecinta Alam Mahasiswa Olahraga (PAMOR), FPOK., yang berjumlah 50 orang, terdiri dari 30 orang putra dan 20 orang puteri. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa keempat model alat ukur power endurance lengan bisa dijadikan alat ukur karena memenuhi persyaratan validitas yang dilengkapi dengan skala norma suatu standar yang dapat digunakan untuk memberi makna hasil tes dan akan sangat membantu bagi para pemakai tes dalam menafsirkan hasil tes dalam waktu yang tepat. The purpose of this study was to measure the ability of the arm on the power of endurance sports that require explosive movement with maximum strength (maximum strength) and to determine the degree of validity and reliability of the measuring instrument construction arm endurance power. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method with a pretest and posttest design. The sample was several sons and daughters of athletes who are members of the training area (Pelatda) West Java and Student Activity Unit (UKM) UPI sport karate, boxing, rock climbing and incorporated in the Nature Lovers Students Sports (PAMOR), FPOK., numbering 50 people, consisting of 30 men and 20 daughters. The study concluded that the four models of arm endurance power measuring devices can be used as a measuring tool for fulfilling the requirements of the validity of which is equipped with a standard scale of norms that can be used to give meaning and the test results will be helpful for the users of the test in interpreting the test results in a timely manner.
