Abstract

Pemberian demonstrasi wudhu sejak anak usia dini merupakan langkah yang tepat karena wudhu menjadi gerbang utama dalam menjalankan ibadah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pra-penelitian di lapangan diketahui bahwa kemampuan berwudhu anak masih rendah. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh stimulasi yang diberikan guru kurang bervariatif dan kurang menarik. Penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang menarik bagi anak menjadi salah satu hal yang perlu diprioritaskan oleh seorang guru. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan utama untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berwudhu pada anak setelah penerapan metode demonstrasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, dengan partisipan 12 anak kelompok A di salah satu TK di Kota Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa pedoman daftar ceklis kemampuan berwudhu anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 2 siklus dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 tindakan. Masing-masing tindakan dilakukan dengan empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Kondisi awal kemampuan berwudhu anak masih belum mencapai target perkembangan dengan persentase 67% kategori Belum Berkembang, 33% kategori Mulai Berkembang, dan 0% kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan. Setelah diberikan tindakan melalui metode demonstrasi kemampuan berwudhu anak meningkat secara optimal dengan persentase 0% kategori Belum Berkembang, 25% kategori Mulai Berkembang, dan 75% kategori Berkembang Sesuai harapan. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran melalui metode demonstrasi dapat dipertimbangkan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berwudhu anak usia dini. Habituating the practice of ablution from early childhood is the right step because ablution is the main gate in carrying out worship. Based on the results of pre-research observations in the field, it is known that children's ablution ability is still low. This is because the stimulation provided by the teacher is less varied and less interesting. The use of learning methods that are interesting to children is one of the things that need to be prioritized by a teacher. This study has the main objective to determine the improvement of ablution ability in children after the application of the demonstration method. The research method used was Classroom Action Research, with participants of 12 group A children in one of the kindergartens in Bandung. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The research data was obtained using a research instrument in the form of a checklist guideline for children's ablution ability. The study was conducted in 2 cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 actions. Each action is carried out with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The initial condition of children's ablution ability still has not reached the development target with a percentage of 67% of the Undeveloped category, 33% of the Starting to Develop category, and 0% of the Developing as Expected category. After being given action through the demonstration method, the child's ablution ability increased optimally with a percentage of 0% of the Undeveloped category, 25% of the Starting to Develop category, and 75% of the Developing category as expected. Thus, learning through demonstration methods can be considered in developing early childhood ablution skills.
