Abstract

Model runtun waktu dapat dibagi menjadi dua berdasarkan sifat variansi residualnya, yaitu konstan dan tidak konstan. Pemodelan runtun waktu yang tidak konstan (heteroskedastik) digunakan model Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedastic (ARCH) dan Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroscedastic (GARCH). Kemudian model Conditional Heteroscedastic Autoregressive Moving Average (CHARMA) diperkenalkan oleh Ruey S. Tsay (1987). Model CHARMA ini memiliki kemiripan pada variansi bersyarat orde dua dengan model ARCH. Perbedaan antara model CHARMA dan model ARCH terletak pada penggunaan cross product dari nilai lag
