    Abstract

    Self acceptance pada remaja broken home bisa diartikan sebagai penerimaan mereka atas
    keadaan keluarganya yang broken home, terutama orang tuanya yang berbeda dari orang
    tua lainnya. Ada beberapa anggapan bahwa remaja broken home adalah remaja yang sering
    membuat masalah, remaja yang tidak punya masa depan, remaja yang tidak berprestasi,
    dan lainnya. Anggapan itu benar bagi remaja yang tidak bisa menerima keadaannya, tapi
    bagi sebagian remaja yang bisa menerima keadaannya, anggapan tersebut salah. Banyak
    remaja broken home yang hidup sukses, banyak remaja broken home yang berprestasi.
    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan self-acceptance individu dengan kondisi
    keluarga broken home namun dapat berprestasi baik di bidang akademik maupun non�akademik dan juga selain dari mereka yang menerima keadaannya. Penelitian yang
    digunakan pendekatan kualitatif tipe studi kasus, responden dipilih dengan teknik
    purposive sampling dengan kategorisasi pada kelas X SMAN 1 Subang. Terpilih tiga
    partisipan dan pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara individu. Sehingga
    bisa diketahui faktor kecerdasan,religiusitas, dan perilaku ketika dihadapkan dengan
    peristiwa negatif yang mendorong individu broken home bisa terus berprestasi dan
    menerima diri dengan berbagai keadaan. Temuan dalam penelitian bahwa ketiga subjek
    memiliki beberapa indikator penerimaan diri dalam yang diaplikasikan pada kehidupan
    sehari-hari. Penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk guru bimbingan dan konseling
    khususnya konseling individual dan konseling kelompok untuk memperbaiki dan
    meningkatkan penerimaan diri remaja.

    Self-acceptance among adolescents from broken-home can be understood as acknowledging and embracing their familial circumstances, particularly about their parents, who may deviate from conventional parental figures. Certain expectations exist regarding adolescents from broken-home, including tendencies towards delinquency, limited prospects for the future, and underachievement, among others. This assumption is true for teenagers who cannot accept their situation, but for some teenagers who can accept their situation, this assumption is wrong. Many broken home teenagers are successful, many broken home teenagers are achievers. This study aims to describe the self-acceptance of individuals with broken home family conditions but can achieve both in the academic and non-academic fields and also apart from those who accept their situation. The research used a case study type qualitative approach, respondents were selected by purposive sampling technique with categorization in class X SMAN 1 Subang. Three participants were selected and data collection used the individual interview method. So that intelligence, religiosity, and behavior can be identified when faced with negative events that encourage broken home individuals to continue to achieve and accept themselves in various circumstances. The findings in the study that the three subjects have several indicators of self-acceptance that are applied to everyday life. This research is recommended for guidance and counseling teachers, especially individual counseling and group counseling to improve and enhance adolescent self-acceptance.
