Abstract

Permasalahan yang menjadi fokus kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian dari
siswa Fase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang belum sepenuhnya memiliki kesiapan
dalam memasuki dunia kerja yang diduga disebabkan oleh kurangnya penguasaan
teknologi informasi siswa khususnya pada bidang manajemen perkantoran. Penelitian ini
penting dilakukan karena apabila masalah rendahnya tingkat kesiapan kerja diabaikan
begitu saja, maka akan mengakibatkan siswa tidak mampu bersaing untuk mencari
pekerjaan setelah mengenyam pendidikan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat penguasaan teknologi
informasi, gambaran tingkatan kesiapan kerja siswa Fase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata
Lembang, dan untuk mengonfirmasi pengaruh dari penguasaan teknologi informasi
terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa Fase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey dengan pendekatan
kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes praktik dan penyebaran angket dengan
sampel 100 siswa Fase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang. Data dianalisis menggunakan
teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penguasaan
teknologi informasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa
Fase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang.

The problem that is the focus of the study in this study is the low level of job
readiness of Phase F students of MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang which is thought to be
caused by the lack of mastery of student information technology, especially in the field of
office management. This research is important because if the problem of low level of job
readiness is ignored, it will result in students not being able to compete for jobs after
receiving education.
This study aims to determine the level of mastery of information technology, an
overview of the level of work readiness of students of Phase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata
Lembang, and to confirm the influence of mastery of information technology on the work
readiness of students of Phase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang.
The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The
research data was obtained through practical tests and questionnaire distribution with a
sample of 100 students of Phase F MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang. Data were analyzed
using descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. The results showed that mastery of
information technology has a positive and significant influence on the job readiness of
Phase F students of MPLB SMK Bina Wisata Lembang.
