Abstract

Penerapan kurikulum merdeka menuntut masing-masing satuan pendidikan untuk menerapkan pembelajaran dengan salah satunya menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis masalah/problem based learning. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang peneliti lakukan dengan salah satu guru di SMKN 1 Cibadak, ditemukan banyak siswa yang mendapatkan hasil belajar yang rendah dibawah KKM pada materi perkembangan bioteknologi, kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa, dan belum diterapkannya model pembelajaran problem based learning. Solusi yang diberikan adalah menggunakan model pembelajaran problem based learning yang dapat memberikan kondisi belajar aktif kepada siswa guna memperoleh hasil belajar yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model problem based learning, mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 35 siswa kelas X APHP 1 SMKN 1 Cibadak. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain penelitian tindakan kelas dengan alur pelaksanaan sebanyak tiga siklus. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran problem based learning pada siklus I, II, dan III terlaksana 100%. Penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X APHP 1 pada materi perkembangan bioteknologi dengan nilai N-Gain yang meningkat di setiap siklusnya. : The implementation of the independent curriculum requires each educational unit to apply learning, one of which is using problem-based learning. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers with one of the teachers at SMKN 1 Cibadak, it was found that many students had low learning outcomes under the KKM on biotechnology development material, lack of student learning activities, and the problem based learning model had not been implemented. The solution given is to use a problem-based learning model that can provide active learning conditions for students in order to obtain maximum learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the implementation of the learning process using the problem based learning model, knowing the activities and student learning outcomes. The research sample was 35 students of class X APHP 1 SMKN 1 Cibadak. The research was conducted using a classroom action research design with three cycles of implementation flow. The implementation of problem based learning in cycles I, II, and III was 100%. The application of the problem-based learning learning model can increase student learning activities and learning outcomes of class X APHP 1 students on biotechnology development material with an increasing N-Gain value in each cycle.
