Abstract
The problem studied in this study is the low level of critical thinking skills of class XI students of Office Management Automation (OTKP) at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Based on Cognitivism Learning Theory, Piaget stated that cognitive development is a genetic process, meaning that the process will be based on biological mechanisms in the nervous system. Critical thinking is an important aspect in the current era of education. The purpose of this study was to describe the high and low levels of Intelligence Quotient (IQ) and the level of critical thinking skills and to determine the effect of Intelligence Quotient (IQ) on the critical thinking skills of class XI OTKP students at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. This study examines Intelligence Quotient (X) and critical thinking skills (Y). This study also used a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. Research data was obtained through the distribution of test instruments. Respondents were OTKP class XI students at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi, totaling 33 people. The data analysis technique used is simple regression. The results showed that Intelligence Quotient (IQ) had a positive influence on the critical thinking skills of class XI OTKP students at SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi. Thus students' critical thinking skills can be done by increasing Intelligence Quotient (IQ).
