Abstract

Keterampilan berbahasa diperlukan agar kemampuan komunikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Keterampilan berbahasa memiliki empat aspek, salah satu aspek yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa sekolah dasar yaitu keterampilan berbicara. Keterampilan berbicara perlu dilatih sejak dini. Namun pada kenyataan saat ini, keterampilan berbicara yang dimiliki siswa belum baik. Hal tersebut disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, salah satunya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang kurang menarik. Terdapat beberapa model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III SD yaitu model pembelajaran example non example dan model pembelajaran picture and picture. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perbedaan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III SD berdasarkan model pembelajaran example non example dan model pembelajaran picture and picture. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan perbedaan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III SD berdasarkan model pembelajaran example non example dan model pembelajaran picture and picture dengan harapan penelitian ini bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran berbicara siswa di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain the randomized group posttest only. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar observasi dan tes keterampilan berbicara. Pada tahap analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis untuk menentukan hasil dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu terdapat perbedaan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III SD. Dari nilai tersebut membuktikan bahwa Nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen II dengan model pembelajaran picture and picture lebih baik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III SD dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran example non example. Penggunaan model pembelajaran yang inovatif berpengaruh pada meningkatnya keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas III SD. Language skills are needed for communication skills to run well. Language skills have four aspects, one aspect that elementary school students need to have is speaking skills. Speaking skills need to be trained early. But in today's reality, the students' speaking skills are not good. This is caused by several factors, one of which is the use of less attractive learning models. There are several learning models that can be used to improve the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students, namely the example non example learning model and the picture and picture learning model. This study focuses on differences in speaking skills of grade III elementary school students based on example non example learning models and picture and picture learning models. The purpose of this study is to describe the differences in speaking skills of grade III elementary school students based on example non example learning models and picture and picture learning models with the hope that this research is useful for improving students' speaking learning in elementary schools. This study used a quantitative approach with the randomized group posttest only design. Participants in this study were grade III elementary school students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation sheets and speaking skills tests. At the data analysis stage using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests to determine results and conclusions. The results of the research obtained are that there are differences in the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students. The average score of experimental class II with picture and picture learning model is higher than the average score of experimental class I with example non example learning model. The use of innovative learning models has an effect on improving the speaking skills of grade III elementary school students.
