Abstract

Menurut Century Partnership Learning Framework sumber daya manusia pada abad 21 harus memiliki kemampuan salah satunya ialah berpikir kritis. Fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa indikator berpikir kritis belum menjadi kompetensi yang dikembangkan dan dimiliki siswa hal tersebut dapat dilihat melalui hasil soal tipe PISA pada tahun 2018 menyatakan Indonesia menduduki posisi ke-72 dari 78 negara di ASEAN terkait kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Model pembelajaran yang masih menerapkan teknik ceramah dan diskusi membuat siswa kurang terlatih dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum ialah menganalisis apakah terdapat pengaruh adanya model pembelajaran TTW terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah quasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent control group dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak yaitu kelas ekperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 13 Bandung dengan subjek penelitian kelas XI. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes yang berbentuk pilihan ganda dan uraian. Analisis data yang digunakan ialah analisis data statistik yang terdiri dari uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, serta uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa penerapan model pembelajaran TTW berbasis web liveworksheets serta menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen dalam kategori tinggi dengan persentase 61%, sedangkan kelas kontrol masuk dalam kategori yang didominasi rendah dengan persentase 64%. Sehingga, berdasarkan analisis hasil nilai soal pilihan ganda dan uraian melaui uji analisis Mann Whitney maupun uji-t menyatakan perbandingan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki perbedaan peningkatan yang signifikan dibandingan dengan kelas kontrol. According to the Century Partnership Learning Framework, human resources in the 21st century must have the ability to think critically. Facts on the grouns show that indicators of critical thinking have not become competencies that are developed and owned by students. This can be seen through the result of the PISA type questions in 2018 which state that Indonesia occupies 72nd position out of 78 countries in ASEAN regarding higher-order thinking skills. Learning models that still apply lecture and discussion technique make students less traindes in critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study in general is to analyze whether there is an influence of the TTW learning model on students critical thinking skills. The research method used was quasi experimental with Nonequicalents control grup design with random sampling technique, namely the experimentak class and the control class. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 13 Bandung with class XI research subjects. Data collection uses observation sheets and test in the form of multiple choice and descriptions. The data analysis used is statistical data analysis consisting of prerequisite tests, namely normality tests, homogenity testt, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there were differences in student critical thinking abilities after being given treatment in the form of applying the TTW learning model based on the web liveworksheets and showed that there was an increase in the result of students critical thinking abilities in the experimental class in the high category with a percentage of 61% while the cintrol class was included in the dominated category. Low with a percentage of 64%. So, based on the analysis of the result of multiple choice question score and descriptions through the Mann Whitney analysis test and the t-test, it was stated that the comparison of the critical thinking abilities of the experimental class students had a significant difference in improvement compared to the control class.
