Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media Ular Tangga Ragam Indonesia (UTARI) sehingga dapat digunakan oleh siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar pada materi keanekaragaman di Indonesia khususnya meningkatkan minat belajar pembelajaran IPS. Media ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) yang dikembangkan oleh Richey dan Klein. Model penelitian yang digunakan ialah model ADDIE yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Pada tahap pengembangan media melibatkan beberapa ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, ahli pembelajaran, dan siswa kelas IV untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari media yang dibuat, Hasil validasi media Ular Tangga Ragam Indonesia (UTARI) mendapatkan nilai dengan persentasi 100% dari ahli materi. Hasil tersebut masuk kedalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB). Dari ahli media mendapatkan nilai dengan persentase 94,1% dan masuk kedalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB). Dari ahli pembelajaran mendapatkan nilai dengan persentase 100% dan masuk kedalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB). Kemudian dari respon peserta didik, media UTARI mendapatkan nilai dengan persentase 91,79% dan masuk kedalam kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB). Dari keseluruhan hasil validasi didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 96,7% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik” (SB) yang artinya media Ular Tangga Ragam Indonesia yang peneliti kembangkan layak untuk digunakan juga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar pembelajaran IPS kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. This study aims to describe the development of Indonesian diversity Snakes and Ladders (UTARI) media so that it can be used by fourth grade elementary school students on diversity material in Indonesia, especially to increase interest in learning social studies. This media was created using the Design and Development (D&D) method developed by Richey and Klein. The research model used is the ADDIE model, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. At the media development stage, several experts were involved, namely material experts, media experts, learning experts, and fourth grade students to determine the feasibility of the media created. The validation results of the Indonesian diversity Snakes and Ladders media (UTARI) obtained a score of 100% from the material experts. These results fall into the criteria of "Very Good" (SB). Media experts get a score with a percentage of 94.1% and is included in the "Very Good" (SB) criteria. From the learning experts get a score with a percentage of 100% and fall into the criteria of "Very Good" (SB). Then from the students' responses, UTARI media got a score with a percentage of 91.79% and entered into the "Very Good" (SB) criteria. From the overall validation results, it was obtained an average value of 96.7% with the criteria of "Very Good" (SB), which means that the Indonesian diversity Snakes and Ladders media that the researchers developed is suitable for use and can increase interest in learning social studies in grade IV elementary schools.
