Abstract
Penanaman penguatan karakter kepada peserta didik SD harus diimplementasikan dengan baik serta berkelanjutan, dimana pendidikan karakter harus ditanamkan sejak usia dini maupun usia sekolah dasar sesuai dengan karakteristik perkembangannya. Perhatian pemerintah berkenaan dengan urgensi pendidikan karaktekter di sekolah dasar telah mengeluarkan peraturan bagaimana sekolah harus menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter di setiap lembaga pendidikan salah sataunya adalah program penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah, dengan demikian, sekolah bisa mewujudkan generasi yang baik dikemudian hari. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis bagaimana implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah, bagaimana kendala dalam implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah dan bagaimana solusi yang diupayakan untuk mengatasi kendala dalam mengimplementasikan penguatan pendidikan karakter melalui budaya sekolah. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan di SD Unggulan Al - ‘Izzah dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif, pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, dengan sumber informan yaitu kepala sekolah, guru, staf dan siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa implementasi Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter melalui Budaya Sekolah dilaksanakan melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dirumuskan melalui visi dan misi sekolah, pembiasaan, himbauan, tata tertib, integrasi mata pelajaran, ekstrakurikukler, keunikan dan ciri khas sekolah, serta kerja sama sekolah dengan orang tua maupun komite. Selain itu ditemukan pula beberapa kendala yaitu terdapat pada stakeholder Sekolah, orang tua, sarana dan prasarana. Ditemukan pula solusi untuk mengatasi kendala dalam implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter yaitu melakukan evaluasi mingguan, sinergitas dengan orangtua dan rencana Pembangunan sekolah. ---------- Instilling character strengthening for elementary school students must be implemented properly and sustainably, where character education must be instilled from an early age and elementary school age according to their developmental characteristics. The government's concern regarding the urgency of character education in elementary schools has issued regulations on how schools must instill character values in every educational institution, one of which is a program to strengthen character education through school culture, thus schools can create good generations in the future. The purpose of this study is to describe how the implementation of strengthening character education through school culture, what are the obstacles in implementing strengthening character education through school culture and what solutions are sought to overcome obstacles in implementing strengthening character education through school culture. This research was conducted at SD Unggulan Al - 'Izzah using a descriptive analysis method, a qualitative approach. Researchers collected data through observation, interviews and documentation studies, with sources of informants namely school principals, teachers, staff and students. The results of this study found that the implementation of Strengthening Character Education through School Culture was carried out through the implementation of activities that were formulated through the vision and mission of the school, habituation, appeals, rules, integration of subjects, extracurricular activities, school uniqueness and characteristics, and school cooperation with parents as well as committees. In addition, several obstacles were also found, namely the school stakeholders, parents, facilities and infrastructure. Solutions were also found to overcome obstacles in the implementation of strengthening educational character, namely conducting weekly evaluations, synergizing with parents and school development plans.
