Abstract

Inka Sila Sakti (NIM.2105300) Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Berbasis HOTS Pada Berita Viral Terhadap Domain Moral Knowing (Studi Kuasi Eksperimen di SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan pendidikan di abad 21 dan fenomena revolusi industri 4.0 yang menuntut sumber daya manusia untuk menguasai dan mengembangkan berbagai bentuk keterampilan hidup yang harus difasilitasi dalam pembelajaran berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skils (HOTS). Model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) berbasis HOTS mampu mengkontruksi moral knowing peserta didik melalui stimulus cerita berita viral yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik dan mempertajam domaian analisis, eveluasi dan refleksi diri peserta didik di dalam kehidupannnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran VCT dalam memgukur domain moral knowing peserta didik,khususnya peserta didik kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas kontrol dan MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen di SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi yang dilakukan menggunakan uji statistik parametrik dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25.00. Penelitian menunjukan perbedaan signifikan moral knowing peserta didik pada kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Hal ini berbanding lurus dengan hasil respon peserta didik di kelas eksperimen yang menunjukan respon positif terhadap penerapan model pembelajaran Value Clarification Technique (VCT) dan peningkatan hasil tes yang siginifikan di kelas eksperimen. Hal ini menunjukkan model pembelajaran ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta didik dan menghadirkan tantangan berpikir kritis, dan refleksi diri dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pendekatan ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang berguna d alam mengkontruksi pembelajaran PPKn dan pengembangan pengetahuan moral knowing peserta didik di era pendidikan abad 21. Kata Kunci : Value Clarification Technique, Pembelajaran HOTS, Moral Knowing Inka Sila Sakti (NIM.2105300) Application of the HOTS-Based Value Clarification Technique (VCT) Learning Model in Viral News Against Domain Moral Knowing (Quasi-Experimental Study at SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan). This research is motivated by the challenges in education in the 21st century and the phenomenon of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which demands human resources to master and develop various forms of life skills that need to be facilitated through Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based learning. The Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model based on HOTS is capable of constructing students' moral knowing through stimulus of viral news stories that are relevant to their daily lives, and sharpening the domains of analysis, evaluation, and self-reflection in their lives. The objective of this research is to determine the application of the VCT learning model in measuring the moral knowing domain of students, particularly in the 10th-grade science class 1 as the control group and science class 4 as the experimental group in SMA Negeri 3 Kuningan. This research uses a quasi-experimental method conducted through parametric statistical tests with the assistance of SPSS software version 25.00. The study shows a significant difference in the moral knowing of students in the control and experimental groups. This is directly related to the results of the students responses in the experimental group, which indicates a positive response to the implementation of the Value Clarification Technique (VCT) learning model and a significant improvement in test results in the experimental group. This shows that this learning model is effective in increasing students engagement and presenting challenges in critical thinking and self-reflection in learning. Thus, this approach can be a useful alternative in constructing Civics and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning and developing students moral knowing in the era of 21st-century education.
