Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar “Shapesbook” pada materi bangun datar guna meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa fase C sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh masih ditemukannya beberapa siswa kelas V SD Negeri X di Kabupaten Bandung yang sulit memahami konsep maupun saat melakukan operasi hitung luas bangun datar terutama saat telah masuk ke tahap komposisi dan dekomposisi beberapa bentuk bangun datar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (analisys, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, kuisioner, dan soal evaluasi. Teknik analis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa fase C kelas V sekolah dasar. Proses desain awal bahan ajar diawali dengan membuat ilustrasi pendukung juga gambar bangun datar menggunakan bantuan aplikasi Ibis Paint X dan Geogebra kemudian bahan ajar didesain dengan menggunakan Canva. Hasil validasi bahan ajar “Shapesbook” dari para validator ahli memperoleh predikat sangat layak dengan masing-masing rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 86,7% dan 91,65%. Setelah dilakukan implementasi bahan ajar “Shapesbook” mengenai materi luas bangun datar kepada kelas V sekolah dasar diperoleh hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan hasil rata-rata skor pre-test 54,16 dan rata-rata skor post-test 85,76. This study aims to develop teaching materials "Shapesbook" on shapes to improve student learning outcomes in phase C elementary schools. The background of this research is that there are still several grade V students at SD Negeri X in Bandung Regency who find it difficult to understand both the concept and when performing operations on calculating the area of shapes, especially when they have entered the composition and decomposition stages of several shapes. The research method used is Design and Development (D&D) with the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The research instruments used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, and evaluation questions. Data analysis techniques in this study used qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The subjects of this research were the fifth grade elementary school students in phase C. The initial design process for teaching materials begins with making supporting illustrations as well as shapes images using the help of the Ibis Paint X and Geogebra applications, then the teaching materials are designed using Canva. The validation results of the "Shapesbook" teaching material from expert validators obtained the title of very decent with the respective averages obtained being 86,7% and 91,65%. After the implementation of the "Shapesbook" teaching material regarding the area of flat shapes for class V of elementary schools, student learning outcomes increased with an average pre-test score of 54,16 and an average post-test score of 85,76.
