Abstract

ABSTRAK Fenomena lesbian masih dianggap sebagai perdebatan yang sensitif oleh masyarakat, terkait dengan berbagai isu sosial, budaya, agama, dan hukum. Melihat eksistensi komunitas remaja lesbian di Kota Bandung yang semakin terbuka maka, fenomena lesbian ini tidak dipungkiri terjadi pada kalangan remaja, khususnya para siswi Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Kota Bandung. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami gambaran perilaku lesbian pada siswi SMA, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi siswi SMA menjadi lesbian,dan menganalisis solusi untuk menanggulangi perilaku lesbian pada siswi SMA yang ditinjau melalui teori interaksionisme simbolik menurut George Harbert Mead serta 6 konsepnya yang meliputi konsep tindakan, gestur, simbol, pikiran, konsep diri, dan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi, dan studi literatur. Dalam menentukan informan, digunakan teknik sampling non-probabilitas. Dalam penentuan sampel, digunakan teknik snowball sampling (sampel bola salju), dimana penentuan informan dimulai dari satu partisipan, lalu informan tersebut diminta pendapatnya untuk melibatkan partisipan lain yang bersedia menjadi informan. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan dalam gambaran siswi SMA lesbian yaitu, terdapat peran butchi dan femme, keterbukaan orientasi seksual yang cenderung terbuka, bentuk hubungan lesbian yang didasari komitmen didukung oleh perilaku seksual meliputi, berfantasi seksual, berpegangan tangan, berciuman, berpelukan, seks oral, petting, fingering, hingga jepit paha. Faktor yang melatarbelakangi perilaku lesbian yaitu, faktor biologis, konflik orangtua, pengalaman buruk dari laki-laki, pola asuh orangtua yang tidak efektif, dan media sosial. Solusi untuk menangulangi perilaku lesbian ini dibutuhkan berbagai peran dari pihak orangtua, pihak guru dan sekolah, serta pihak pemerintah. Kata kunci : Lesbian, Siswi SMA, Interaksionisme Simbolik ABSTRACT The lesbian phenomenon is still considered by society as a sensitive debate and related to various social, cultural, religious, and legal issues. Seeing the existence of the lesbian youth community in the city of Bandung which is increasingly open, this lesbian phenomenon is undeniable among teenagers, especially high school students in the city of Bandung. The purpose of this study is to understand the description of lesbian behavior in high school students, identify the factors behind high school students becoming lesbians, and analyze solutions to overcome lesbian behavior in high school students which are reviewed through the theory of symbolic interactionism according to George Harbert Mead and its 6 concepts which include the concepts of action, gestures, symbols, thoughts, self-concept, and society. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, documentation studies, and literature studies. In determining informants, non-probability sampling techniques are used. In sampling, snowball sampling techniques are used, where the determination of informants starts from one participant, then the informant is asked for his opinion to involve other participants who are willing to become informants. The results of the study found in the description of lesbian high school students are, there are butchi and femme roles, openness of sexual orientation that tends to be open, forms of lesbian relationships based on commitment supported by sexual behavior include, sexual fantasies, holding hands, kissing, hugging, oral sex, petting, fingering, to thigh clips. Factors behind lesbian behavior are biological factors, parental conflicts, bad experiences from men, ineffective parenting, and social media. Solutions to overcome lesbian behavior require collaboration from parents, teachers and schools, and the government. Keywords: Lesbian, high school students, symbolic interactionism
