Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks biantara yang tergolong masih kurang. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan agar bisa mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks biantara sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Google Docs serta adakah perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks biantara siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Google Docs. Penelitian ini mrnggunakan metode kuantitatif kuasi eksperimen paada siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan menggunakan desain pretest dan posttest. Teknik yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik tes menggunakan soal perintah. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan IBM Statistic 26. Menurut hasil penelian, kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks biantara sebelum menggunakan media Google Docs tergolong belum mampu dikarenakan tidak tercapainya KKM dan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks biantara sesudah menggunakan media Google Docs tergolong mampu dikarenakan tercapainya KKM. Hasil data uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada beda yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis teks biantara siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media Google Docs. Kata Kunci : media Google Docs, menulis, teks biantara ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the exsistence of students’ ability in writing biantara texts which is still lacking. This study aims to be able to describe students' ability to write biantara texts before and after using Google Docs media and is there a significant difference between the ability to write biantara texts between class XI IPS 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua 2022/2023 academic year before and after using Google Docs media..This study uses a quasi-experimental quantitative method on students of class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua for the academic year 2022/2023 using a pretest and posttest design. The technique used in this study is a test technique using command questions. The data that has been collected was then analyzed using IBM Statistics 26. According to the results of the study, the students' ability to write biantara texts before using Google Docs media was classified as incapacitated because the KKM was not achieved and students' abilities in writing intermediary texts after using Google Docs media were classified as capable due to the achievement of KKM. The results of the hypothesis testing data in this study are that there is a significant difference between the ability to write bilingual texts among students of class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Cisarua in the 2022/2023 academic year before and after using Google Docs media.
