Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi berdasarkan kurangnya kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa di kelas II sekolah dasar. Hal ini tentu berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan sehingga terlihat bagaimana proses pembelajaran hingga akhir pembelajaran. Sekitar 32 siswa hanya mampu mencapai persentase sebesar 56% atau sebanyak 14 siswa yang bisa membaca dengan pengejaan huruf dan intonasi yang benar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana rancangan pembelajaran berbasis metode card sort untuk menigkatkan kemampuan membaca permulan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar, yang terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan pembelajaran, kegiatan inti pembelajaran, dan kegiatan akhir pembelajaran. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode Delphi yang dikemukakan oleh Lisstone dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif, serta melibatkan dua orang ahli di bidang pendidikan yaitu Dosen mata kuliah pembelajaran terpadu untuk memvalidasi hasil daripada rancangan pembelajaran yang telah disusun oleh peneliti. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu berupa lembar penilaian rancangan pembelajaran berbasis metode card sort untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Hasil akhir validasi sesuai dengan kesepakatan para ahli yang telah disebutkan, bahwa rancangan pembelajaran berbasis metode card sort dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang terdiri dari kegiatan pendahuluan pembelajaran, kegiatan inti pembelajaran, dan kegiatan akhir pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan aturan permendikbud No.22 Tahun 2016 tentang standar proses pendidikan dasar dan menengah, dan Indikator Pencapaian Kompetensi yang telah ditentukan. ABSTRACT The background of this research is the lack of pre-reading ability of students in grade II of elementary school. This is of course based on the research conducted so that it shows how the learning process is until the end of learning. About 32 students were only able to reach a percentage of 56% or as many as 14 students who could read with correct spelling and intonation. The purpose of this research is to describe how the card sort method based learning design is to improve the pre-reading ability of grade II elementary school students, which consists of preliminary learning activities, core learning activities, and final learning activities. The research method used in this research is to use the Delphi method proposed by Lisstone by using a descriptive qualitative approach, and involving two experts in the field of education, namely a lecturer in integrated learning courses to validate the results of the learning design that has been compiled by the researcher. The research instrument used was in the form of a learning design assessment sheet based on the card sort method to improve the beginning reading skills of the second grade elementary school students. The final result of the validation is in accordance with the agreement of the experts that have been mentioned, that the learning design based on the card sort method can improve the pre- reading ability of grade II elementary school students. This is indicated by the steps of learning which consist of preliminary learning activities, core learning activities, and final learning activities in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No.22 of 2016 concerning the standard of primary and secondary education processes, and predetermined Competency Achievement Indicators.
