Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar buku saku digital pada materi peristiwa kebangsaan masa penjajahan Indonesia. Hal ini dilatar belakangi oleh kurangnya bahan ajar yang mendukung proses belajar serta penanaman nilai karakter nasionalisme kepada peserta didik. Penggunaan bahan ajar yang interaktif saat ini memiliki peran strategis sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi belajar peserta didik selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, utamanya pada pembelajaran IPS. Berdasarkan pernyataan tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan bahan ajar dalam bentuk buku saku digital yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni untuk menghasilkan sebuah bahan ajar buku saku digital sebagai upaya penanaman karakter nasionalisme dan cinta tanah air di kelas V SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode campuran dengan model desain ADDIE (Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi). Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian diantaranya validator ahli materi, validator ahli media, validator ahli pembelajaran, guru dan peserta didik kelas V SDN Brawijaya dan SD Tipar Kota Sukabumi. Akumulasi hasil uji kelayakan dari validator menunjukan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Selanjutnya, hasil skor yang diperoleh dari angket guru dan peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa bahan ajar buku saku digital “Sangat Layak” digunakan di lapangan dalam membantu proses pembelajaran IPS khususnya di kelas V sekolah dasar. -------- This research is development research digital pocketbook teaching materials on national events during the Indonesian colonial period. It is motivated by the lack of teaching materials that support the learning process and instill the character values of nationalism in students. The use of interactive teaching materials currently has a strategic role in increasing student involvement and learning motivation during the learning process, especially in social studies learning. Based on this statement, the researcher develop teaching materials in the form of digital pocketbooks that are adapted to the characteristics of students. The purpose of this research is to produce a digital pocketbook teaching material as an effort to instill the character of nationalism and love for the motherland in the fifth-grade elementary school. The method used in this study is a mixed method with the ADDIE design model, (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The participants involved in study included material expert validators, media validators, learning expert validators, teachers, and fifth-grade students SDN Brawijaya and SD Tipar, Sukabumi City. The accumulated feasibility test results from the validator show the "Very Eligible" category. Furthermore, the scores obtained from the teacher and student questionnaires are included in the "Very Eligible" category. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the digital pocketbook teaching materials are “very feasible” to be used in the field in helping the social studies learning process, especially in the fifth grade of elementary school.
