Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul ”Pengaruh Strategi Think-Talk-Write Terhadap Keterampilan Komunikasi dan Pemahaman Konsep Siswa SMA pada Materi Sistem Ekskresi Manusia”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan informasi mengenai pengaruh strategi Think-Talk-Write terhadap keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada proses pembelajaran materi sistem ekskresi manusia. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan one-shot case study dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XI MIPA dengan jumlah 30 orang di SMAN 2 Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk keterlaksaan startegi Think-Talk-Write adalah lembar observasi yang dinilai oleh observer, instrumen untuk keterampilan komunikasi adalah lembar keterampilan komunikasi yang yang dikembangkan dari framework Partnership for 21st Century Skills dengan indikator mengartikulasikan gagasan dalam bentuk tulisan, mendengarkan untuk memperoleh makna, dan berkomunikasi untuk berbagai tujuan, sementara instrumen untuk pemahaman konsep adalah LKPD dan soal pilihan ganda yang berjumlah 15 soal, angket respon siswa terhadap penggunaan strategi Think-Talk-Write, dan lembar peer assessment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil lembar observasi keterlaksanaan strategi Think-Talk-Write memperoleh hasil sangat tinggi, hasil uji one sample t-test dari masing-masing data keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,00. Dengan demikian, hasil data keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan strategi Think-Talk-Write. Hasil angket respon siswa menunjukkan tidak adanya kendala yang berarti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi Think-Talk-Write berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan komunikasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi sistem ekskresi manusia. Kata Kunci : Think-Talk-Write, keterampilan komunikasi, pemahaman konsep This research is entitled " The Effect of Think-Talk-Write Strategy on Communication Skills and Concept Understanding of High School Students on Human Excretory System Material". The purpose of this study was to obtain information about the effect of Think-Talk-Write strategy on communication skills and understanding of students' concepts in the learning process of human excretory system material. This research design uses one-shot case study with the research subjects are students of class XI MIPA with a total of 30 people at SMAN 2 Bandung. The research instrument used for the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write strategy is an observation sheet assessed by the observer, the instrument for communication skills is a communication skills sheet developed from the Partnership for 21st Century Skills framework with indicators of articulating ideas in writing, listening to obtain meaning, and communicating for various purposes, while the instrument for concept understanding is LKPD and multiple choice questions totaling 15 questions, student response questionnaire to the use of Think-Talk-Write strategy, and peer assessment sheet. The results showed that the results of the observation sheet of the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write strategy obtained very high results, the results of the one sample t-test test of each communication skills data and concept understanding obtained a significance value of 0.00. Thus, the results of data on communication skills and understanding of student concepts are influenced by the use of the Think-Talk-Write strategy. The results of the student response questionnaire showed no significant obstacles. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Think-Talk-Write strategy affects students' communication skills and concept understanding on the material of the human excretory system.
