Promotor: Prof. Dr. Disman, MS., dan Prof. Dr. Agus Mulyana, M.Hum., Departemen Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Program Master Dan Doktor Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Pendidikan dewasa ini nyaris kehilangan eksistensinya sebagai suatu sarana dalam proses mengantarkan siswa untuk berkembang menjadi manusia seutuhnya, dan perbedaan nilai-nilai moral yang muncul dalam kehidupan masyarakat acapkali menimbulkan masalah sosial. Pendidikan merupakan persoalan nilai, yang mengandung pemahaman bahwa segala kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan harus memberikan makna kepada siwa, sehingga integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP/MTs dipandang penting untuk membentuk siswa agar memiliki karakter akhlak mulia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan, menganalisis, dan mengungkap nilai-nilai keislaman yang terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran IPS. Integrasi nilai-nilai Islam diterapkan melalui kurikulum dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) yang mengacu kepada Keputusan Menteri Agama dengan memadukan kurikulum Madrasah dari Majelis Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah (Dikdasmen) Pimpinan Pusat Muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTS Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung pada lingkungan Pesantren Muhammadiyah Tegallega Bandung menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian yang dilaksanakan di MTs Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung pada lingkungan Pesantren Tegallega Bandung tersebut kemudian dinilai melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penyusunan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman berupa Taqwallah, Mutsaqqaf, Ihsan, dan Akhlakul Karimah yang bersumber dari Al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah kemudian menjadi dasar materi pembelajaran IPS kelas VIII. Selain itu juga, integrasi nilai-nilai keislaman di MTs Muhammadiyah Kota Bandung juga muncul melalui program-program keagamaan seperti muhadhoroh, tahfidz, tahsin, tadarus, dan kultum, program-program ini dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan harian, mingguan, bulanan, tahunan, dan insidental. Today’s modern education is almost ineffective as a means to help students develop into complete individuals, and differences in moral values that arise in people's lives often cause social problems. Because education is about values, all educational activities must have significance for students. Incorporating Islamic values into social studies classes in SMP and MTs is seen as an important means of fostering students' moral development. This initiative aims to explain, analyze, and demonstrate how Islamic values are integrated into social studies education. Integration of Islamic values is done through the curriculum from the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud), which is based on the Decree of the Minister of Religion and uses the Madrasah curriculum from the Muhammadiyah Central Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (Dikdasmen). This study was conducted at the MTS Muhammadiyah Bandung City in the Tegallega Muhammadiyah Islamic Boarding School in Bandung, utilizing a qualitative approach with a case study design. Observations, interviews, and documentation were used to collect research data at MTs Muhammadiyah Bandung City in the Tegallega Islamic Boarding School, Bandung. These were then evaluated via data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the integration of Islamic values like Taqwallah, Mutsaqqaf, Ihsan, and Akhlakul Karimah, which come from the Al-Qur'an and As-Sunnah, became the base for learning materials for class VIII in social studies. Aside from that, MTs Muhammadiyah Bandung City also shows how Islamic values are integrated through religious programs like muhadhoroh, tahfidz, tahsin, tadarus, and kultum. These programs are carried out through daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and incidental activities. Keywords: Integration of Islamic Values, Social Studies Learning.
