Abstract
ABSTRAK PENERAPAN TIPE PEMBELAJARAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KETERAMPILAN BERKOMUNIKASI SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI DI SMA KHODIMUL UMMAT DAARUT TAUHIID BANDUNG Keterampilan berkomunikasi merupakan modal dasar bagi peserta didik dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran mandiri, baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah. Keterampilan berkomunikasi yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini, yaitu keterampilan berkomunikasi secara lisan dan keterampilan berkomunikasi secara tulisan. Kedua keterampilan berkomunikasi ini dilatihkan melalui penerapan metode cooperative learning tipe two stay two stray pada pembelajaran geografi di kelas XII IPS SMA Khodimul Ummat Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian tindakan kelas model John Elliot. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas XII IPS SMA Khodimul Ummat Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi peserta didik dengan menggunakan tipe pembelajaran Two stay two stray. 2) Mendeskripsikan peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi peserta didik melalui tipe pembelajaran Two stay two stray. 3) Mengetahui kendala-kendala apa saja yang muncul ketika menerapkan tipe Two stay two stray. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two stay two stray dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berkomunikasi peserta didik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari poin-poin dari lembar observasi keterampilan berkomunikasi peserta didik dari tiap tindakan yang meningkat persentase tiap tindakan. Comunication skill referred to in this research, that is the ability to speak and the ability to write. These two comunication skill is trained through the implementation of cooperative learning methods type two stay two stray on learning geography in class XII social science SMA Khodimul Ummat Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. Research method used is the John Eliot model ofstudy class action method. The subject is students of XII social science of SMA Khodimul Ummat Daarut Tauhiid Bandung. The aim of this study were: (1) Improve comunication skill of students with learning method two stay two stray. (2) Describe the increased comunication skill of students through learning method two stay two stray. (3) Knowing what are the constraints that arise when applying the method of two stay two stray. Data was collected through observation and documentation. The result showed that the learning is done by cooperative learning type two stay two stray can increase the comunication skill of students. It can be seen from the points of observation sheet students learningcomunication skill of each action that increase the percentage of each action.
