Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Penggunaan Vst Plugin sebagai Live Performance Guitar Effect oleh Luthfiadi Amri Hermana. Peneletian ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan para pembaca tentang penggunaan vst plugin sebagai live performance guitar effects. Mengingat tulisan-tulisan yang membahas tentang penggunaan vst plugin sebagai live performance guitar effects ini tergolong sedikit. Hal yang menarik dari Luthfiadi Amri Hermana adalah beliau tidak hanya menggunakan Vst Plugin untuk kebutuhan produksi karya musik saja, namun beliau juga menggunakan Vst Plugin sebagai live Performance guitar FX ketika diatas berada di atas pentas. Metode yang Luthfi gunakan dalam merancang konfingurasi perangkat keras yang beliau ciptakan sendiri dengan memanfaatkan gabungan dari beberapa Audio hardware dan Vst Plugin menjadi fokus utama dalam membuat penelitian ini. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis melalui pendekatan kualitatif, dengan tujuan dapat memberikan gambaran secara sistematis dan akurat mengenai strategi penggunaan Penggunaan Vst Plugin sebagai Live Performance Guitar Effect oleh Luthfiadi Amri Hermana. Data-data yang diperoleh melalui penelitian langsung dengan narasumber berupa wawancara, serta data lainnya seperti dokumentasi video, literatur dan dokumentasi lainnya, sehingga dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang strategi vst plugin sebagai live performance guitar effects. Strategi yang dilakukan oleh Luthfiadi Amri Hermana merupakan pemilihan dan penggunaan, serta pemanfaatan fitur-fitur yang tersedia pada setiap komponen hardware dan software yang digunakan. This study discusses the Use of the Vst Plugin as a Live Performance Guitar Effect by Luthfiadi Amri Hermana. This research aims to add insight to readers about the use of the vst plugin as a live performance guitar effect. Considering that the writings discussing the use of the vst plugin as live performance guitar effects are relatively few. What's interesting about Luthfiadi Amri Hermana is that he doesn't only use the Vst Plugin for the needs of music production, but he also uses the Vst Plugin as a live Performance guitar FX when above on stage. The method that Luthfi uses in designing hardware configurations that he creates himself by utilizing a combination of several Audio hardware and Vst Plugins is the main focus in making this research. In this study the method used is descriptive analysis method through a qualitative approach, with the aim of being able to provide a systematic and accurate description of the use of the Vst Plugin Strategy as a Live Performance Guitar Effect by Luthfiadi Amri Hermana. The data obtained through direct research with informants in the form of interviews, as well as other data such as video documentation, literature and other documentation, so as to provide a clear picture of the vst plugin strategy as live performance guitar effects. The strategy carried out by Luthfiadi Amri Hermana is the selection and use, as well as the utilization of the features available in each hardware and software component used.
