Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Penggunaan media yang tepat menjadi solusi untuk mempermudah peserta didik saat proses belajar. Media audio-visual motion graphc merupakan salah satu jenis media yang dapat membantu peserta didik saat proses belajar berlangsung sehingga dapat memberikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitin ini untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek mengingat (C1), memahami (C2), dan mengaplikasikan (C3) antara kelas yang menggunakan media audio-visual motion graphic dan kelas yang tidak menggunakan media audio-visual motion graphic pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian kuasi esperimen dan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 80 siswa dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berlandaskan dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, bisa dikatakan bahwa menggunakan media audio-visual motion graphic pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti melalui nilai gain kelas eksperimen pada aspek mengingat (C1), memahami (C2), dan mengaplikasikan (C3) lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media audio-visual motion graphic. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media audio-visual motion graphic terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar di SMPN 1 Cimaung. This research was conducted as an effort to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics subject of polyhedron shapes. The use of appropriate media is a solution to make it easier for students during the learning process. Audio-visual motion graphic media is a type of media that can help students during the learning process so that it can improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to analyze the increase in student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects of remembering (C1), understanding (C2), and applying (C3) between classes that use audio-visual motion graphic media and classes that do not use audio-visual motion graphic media of polyhedron shapes. This study used a quantitative approach with quasi experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. The sample taken were 80 students and used a purposive sampling technique. Based on the result of the research conducted, it can be said that using audio-visual motion graphic media of polyhedron shapes can improve student learning outcomes. This is proven through gain score in experimental class in the aspects of remembering (C1), understanding (C2), and applying (C3) which are higher than control class which does not use audio-visual motion graphic media. Thus, it can be concluded that audio-visual motion graphic media has proven effective in improving student learning outsomes in the material of polyhedron shapes at SMPN 1 Cimaung.
