Abstract

Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah realita permasalahan yang terjadi pada anak-anak di salah satu TK di Kabupaten Bandung, terlihat bahwa masih banyak anak yang belum menunjukkan sikap tata krama, diantaranya anak belum mampu menunjukkan sopan santun baik melalui perkataan dan perbuatan secara spontan, anak belum mampu menunjukkan sikap peduli di lingkungan sekolah, anak belum mampu menunjukkan sikap menghargai orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkat sikap tata krama pada anak melalui penerapan metode bermain peran. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan desain model pelton yang menjadikan metode bermain peran sebagai metode dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yang diintegrasikan dengan sikap sopan santun dengan partisipan berjumlah 6 orang anak yang terdiri dari 5 orang anak laki-laki dan 1 orang anak perempuan. Melalui metode ini anak akan memerankan satu situasi kehidupan dan beberapa peran seperti orangtua, anak, guru, dll. Hingga akhirnya anak dapat menunjukkan peningkatan pada sikap tata krama. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa hasil peningkatan keterampilan sikap tata krama anak pada tindakan pertama mendapat skor rata-rata 17,3, lalu meningkat menjadi 24,1 pada tindakan ke II dan meningkat lagi menjadi 32,1 pada tindakan ke III, dan keberhasilan metode bermain peran dalam meningkatkan sikap tata krama anak melalui tiga tindakan yaitu sebesar 54,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode bermain peran dapat meningkatkan sikap tata krama anak pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di salah satu TK di Kabupaten Bandung. ------ The background of this study is the reality of problems that occur in children in one of the kindergartens in Bandung Regency, it can be seen that there are still many children who have not shown a manners attitude, including children have not been able to show good manners through spontaneous words and deeds, children have not been able to show a caring attitude in the school environment, children have not been able to show an attitude of respect for others. The purpose of this study was to improve manners in children through the application of role-playing methods. The research used a class action research method with a pelton model design that made the role-playing method a method in learning activities that were integrated with polite attitudes with participants totaling 6 children consisting of 5 boys and 1 girl. Through this method the child will act out one life situation and several roles such as parent, child, teacher, etc. Until finally the child can show an improvement in manners. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the results of improving children's mannering attitude skills in the first action got an average score of 17.3, then increased to 24.1 in the second action and increased again to 32.1 in the third action, and the success of the role-playing method in improving the child's manner attitude through three actions was 54.7%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the role-playing method can improve children's manners attitudes in children aged 5-6 years in one of the kindergartens in Bandung Regency.
