Abstract
Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda Indonesia menyebabkan proses belajar mengajar berubah dari yang asalnya secara tatap muka menjadi tatap maya atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ). Hal tersebut menuntut guru dan peserta didik untuk mempunyai keahlian lebih dalam memanfaatkan teknologi. Namun, pada kenyataannya ketika awal pembelajaran secara daring tenaga pendidik belum bisa memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi, hal tersebut dilihat dari keluhan para peserta didik yang merasa proses pembelajaran tidak berjalan efektif karena guru hanya memberikan sedikit materi dan lebih banyak soal isian. Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan google classroom dengan minat belajar siswa. Dalam hal ini ada tiga aspek minat belajar yang menjadi fokus penelitian yaitu aspek perhatian, aspek ketertarikan, dan aspek keterlibatan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian menggunakan survey serta instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket atau kuesioner. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 26 dengan hasil perhitungan secara keseluruhan menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan google classroom dengan minat belajar siswa. Sehingga peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan google classroom siswa lebih tertarik untuk belajar dengan rasa senang serta ikut terlibat berperan aktif pada proses belajar mengajar secara daring. The Covid-19 pandemic that hit Indonesia caused the teaching and learning process to change from being face-to-face to virtual or better known as Distance Learning (PJJ). This requires teachers and students to have more expertise in utilizing technology. In fact, at the beginning of online learning, educators have not been able to maximize the use of technology, this can be seen from the complaints of students who feel that the learning process is not running effectively because the teacher only provides a little material and more questions. The purpose of this research is to see whether there is a relationship between the use of google classroom on students' interest in learning. In this case, there are three aspects of interest in learning that are the focus of research, namely aspects of attention, aspects of interest, and aspects of involvement. The method in this study uses quantitative research design using surveys and research instruments using questionnaires. The results obtained with the help of the SPSS 26 application with the overall calculation results show that there is a relationship between the use of google classroom on students' interest in learning. So, the researcher concludes that by using google classroom students are more interested in learning with pleasure and take an active role in the online teaching and learning process.
