Abstract
Pendidikan merupakan aspek terpenting dalam kehidupan manusia, pendidikan tidak dapat sepenuhnya dipisahkan dari keberadaan serta kehidupan manusia sehingga pendidikan dapat dikatakan bersifat mutlak. Tujuan dan fungsi pendidikan di Indonesia mengutamakan pembentukan peserta didik yang berakhlak mulia, memiliki nilai kepribadian yang baik dan luhur sehingga menjadi warga negara yang berkarakter. Untuk mendukung pembentukan nilai karakter peserta didik, dapat dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai karakter kedalam matapelajaran, salah satunya mata pelajaran PKN. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menyusun bahan ajar yang inovatif dan menarik yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter pada mata pelajaran PKn di kelas III sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi, teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini memakai studi dokumentasi, dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan mengacu pada teori Philip Mayring. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang diperoleh dari serial animasi Omar dan Hana terdapat 50 data temuan yang memuat 12 nilai karakter menurut Kemendiknas, diantaranya nilai karakter religius, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, peduli sosial, cinta damai, tanggung jawab, jujur, bersahabat/komunikatif, demokratis, kerja keras, peduli lingkungan, disiplin. Kemudian dari hasil analisis nilai-nilai karakter tersebut, peneliti membuat dan menyusun alternatif bahan ajar PKn di kelas III sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Nilai Karakter, PKn, Bahan Ajar Education is the most important aspect of human life, education cannot be completely separated from human existence and life so that education can be said to be absolute. The goals and functions of education in Indonesia prioritize the formation of students who have noble character, have good and noble personality values so that they become citizens with character. To support the formation of student character values, this can be done by integrating character values into subjects, one of which is PKN subjects. The purpose of this study is to develop innovative and interesting teaching materials that contain character values in Civics subjects in grade III elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods, the data collection technique in this study uses a documentation study, and the data analysis technique used refers to Philip Mayring's theory. Based on the results of the analysis obtained from the animated series Omar and Hana, there are 50 data findings which contain 12 character values according to the Ministry of National Education, including religious character values, curiosity, respect for achievement, social care, peace-loving, responsibility, honest, friendly/communicative, democratic, hard work, care for the environment, discipline. Then from the results of the analysis of these character values, the researchers created and compiled alternative Civics teaching materials in grade III elementary schools.
