Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan literasi matematis siswa ditinjau dari self-concept dan self-efficacy, serta mengetahui besar pengaruh self-concept dan self-efficacy terhadap literasi matematis baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif komparatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 130 siswa kelas VIII tahun ajaran 2022/2023 pada salah satu SMP di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dengan materi pola bilangan, dan instrumen non-tes berupa angket untuk mengukur self-concept dan self-efficacy siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara literasi matematis siswa yang memiliki self-concept tinggi, sedang, dan rendah; (2) Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara literasi matematis siswa yang memiliki self-efficacy tinggi, sedang, dan rendah; (3) Self-concept memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap literasi matematis siswa, self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh yang sedang terhadap literasi matematis siswa, serta interaksi self-concept dan self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh kecil yang tidak signifikan terhadap literasi matematis siswa. The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in students’ mathematical literacy in terms of self-concept and self-efficacy, also to determine the magnitude of the influence of self-concept and self-efficacy on mathematical literacy. This type of research is quantitative research with descriptive comparative research methods. The research sample consisted of 130 eight grade students of 2022/2023 academic year at junior high school in South Tangerang City. The instrument used in this study was a test instrument for students' mathematical literacy skills with number pattern material, and non-test instruments in the form of differential semantic questionnaires to measure students' self-concept and self-efficacy in learning mathematics. The results of this study indicate that: (1) There is a significant difference between the mathematical literacy of students who have high, medium and low self-concept; (2) There is a significant difference between the mathematical literacy of students who have high, medium and low self-efficacy; (3) Self-concept has a large effect on students' mathematical literacy, self-efficacy has a medium effect on students' mathematical literacy, and the interaction of self-concept and self-efficacy has a small but insignificant effect on students' mathematical literacy.
