Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran RADEC (read, answer, discuss, explain, create) berbantuan media gambar seri pada pembelajaran kemampuan menulis cerita pendek siswa sekolah dasar serta respon siswa terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu self-Report Research, dalam penelitian self-Report ini informasi dikumpulkan oleh orang tersebut yang juga berfungsi sebagai peneliti. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Bojongloa 01 pada siswa kelas IV dengan jumlah 20 orang siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC berbantuan media gambar seri memberikan efektifitas yang tinggi baik dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran maupun hasil keterampilan menulis cerita pendek yang terbukti dengan persentase pada setiap aspek penilaian yang meningkat. Selain itu, partisipasi siswa pun jauh lebih aktif dan respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran yang dilaksanakanpun sangat baik. Kata kunci : Keterampilan Menulis Cerita Pendek, Model Pembelajaran RADEC, Media Gambar Seri This study aims to determine the effect of RADEC learning (read, answer, discuss, explain, create) aided by serial picture media on learning the ability to write short stories of elementary school students and students' responses to these learning activities. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research design used is self-report research, in this self-report research information is collected by the person who also functions as a researcher. This research was conducted at SDN Bojongloa 01 in fourth grade students with a total of 20 students. The results of this study indicate that the RADEC learning model assisted by serial picture media provides high effectiveness in both the implementation of learning and the results of short story writing skills as evidenced by the increasing percentage in each aspect of the assessment. In addition, student participation was much more active and student responses to the learning carried out were very good.
