Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan motorik kasar anak. Penelitian ini untuk menerapkan modifikasi permainan tradisional lompat tali, sebagai metode yang dapat menstimulus kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memperoleh gambaran terkait proses meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar dan memperoleh gambaran terkait peningkatan kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia dini melalui penerapan modifikasi permainan tradisional lompat tali. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas model Pelton (2010) dengan tiga tindakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, penilaian performa dan dokumentasi berupa foto mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbaikan dalam kemampuan motorik kasar anak setelah dilakukan modifikasi permainan tradisonal lompat tali, pengembangan kemampuan motorik kasar dalam indikator kemampuan anak melompat menggunakan dua kaki tanpa jatuh pada tindakan I sebesar 30%, pada tindakan II terjadi pengembangan sebesar 40%, dan tindakan III semakin meningkat menjadi 70%. Dalam indikator anak mampu melompat menggunakan satu kaki dengan seimbang dengan nilai pada tindakan I sebesar 20%, pada tindakan II terjadi pengembangan sebesar 30%, dan tindakan III semakin meningkat menjadi 60%. Dalam indikator berlari sambil melompat menggunakan kedua kaki pada tindakan I sebesar 30%, pada tindakan II terjadi pengembangan sebesar 40% dan tindakan III semakin meningkat menjadi 70%. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui kegiatan modifikasi permainan tradisional lompat tali kemampuan motorik kasar anak meningkat. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari proses dan performa pada saat penelitian. ----- This research was motivated by the low gross motor skills of children. This study is to apply modifications to the traditional game of skipping rope, as a method that can stimulate early childhood gross motor skills. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the process of improving gross motor skills and obtain an overview related to the improvement of gross motor skills in early childhood through the application of modifications to the traditional game of skipping rope. The research method used is the action research of the Pelton model class (2010) with three actions. Data was collected through observation, interviews, performance assessments and documentation in the form of photos regarding learning activities. The results showed an improvement in children's gross motor abilities after modifications to the traditional game of skipping rope, the development of gross motor skills in the indicators of children's ability to jump using two legs without falling on action I by 30%, in action II there was development by 40%, and action III further increased to 70%. In the indicators the child is able to jump using one leg in balance with the value on action I by 20%, in action II there is a development by 30%, and action III is increasing to 60%. In the indicator of running while jumping using both legs on action I by 30%, in action II there is a development by 40% and action III is further increased to 70%. Then it can be concluded that through traditional game modification activities jump rope the child's gross motor skills increase. This can be seen from the process and performance at the time of the study.
