Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kurangnya variasi dan inovasi pada proses pembelajaran serta pemanfaatan media lain dalam mata pelajaran SBdP di Sekolah Dasar yaitu pada materi seni rupa. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan kreativitas siswa yang terhambat, terbatas dan kurang terstimulus. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut peneliti tertarik menerapkan media papercraft dalam mata pelajaran SBdP untuk mengembangkan kreativitas siswa kelas IV SDN 043 Cimuncang dan mengetahui pendapat guru kelas IV SDN 043 Cimuncang mengenai penerapan media papercraft dalam mata pelajaran SBdP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kreativitas siswa dengan penerapan media papercraft pada pembelajaran SBdP dan mengetahui bagaimana penerapan media papercraft dalam pembelajaran SBdP menurut guru kelas IV. Media papercraft sendiri merupakan salah satu jenis karya seni tiga dimensi yang pembuatannya menggunakan teknik merakit, menempel dan membentuk. Dengan metode penelitian bersifat kualitatif deskriptif penelitian dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV B di SDN 043 Cimuncang Kota Bandung. Temuan penelitian yang didapatkan yaitu kreativitas siswa dilihat berdasarkan hasil karya papercraft yang dibuat oleh siswa, serta hasil wawancara guru kelas IV mengenai bagaimana penerapan media papercraft dalam pembelajaran SBdP. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu pada perkembangan kreativitas siswa kelas IV di SDN 043 Cimuncang dengan penerapan media papercraft didapatkan bahwa dari 21 orang siswa sudah kreatif dalam membuat 7 jenis karya yang berbeda-beda, dan jika dilihat dari indikator kreativitasnya sebanyak 13 orang siswa sudah mampu memenuhi lebih dari 50% aspek kreativitas berdasarkan indikator kreativitas yaitu fluency, fleksibilitas, originality dan elaborasi. Kemudian berdasarkan pendapat guru kelas IV bahwa media papercraft dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran SBdP di kelas IV yaitu dalam materi wujud karya seni rupa tiga dimensi dengan cara menerapkan pembelajaran pembuatan karya papercraft kepada siswa. ----- This research is motivated by the problem of lack of variety and innovation in the learning process as well as the use of other media in SBdP subjects in elementary schools, namely the visual arts material. This can affect the development of student creativity that is hampered, limited and less stimulated. Based on these problems, researchers are interested in applying papercraft media in SBdP subjects to develop the creativity of fourth grade students at SDN 043 Cimuncang and find out the opinions of fourth grade teachers at SDN 043 Cimuncang regarding the application of papercraft media in SBdP subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the creativity of students with the application of papercraft media in SBdP learning and to find out how the application of papercraft media in SBdP learning according to class IV teachers. Papercraft media itself is a type of three- dimensional artwork whose manufacture uses the technique of assembling, pasting and shaping. With a descriptive qualitative research method, the research was carried out on grade IV B students at SDN 043 Cimuncang, Bandung City. The research findings obtained are that students' creativity is seen based on the results of papercraft made by students, as well as the results of interviews with fourth grade teachers about how to apply papercraft media in SBdP learning. The results obtained are on the creativity development of fourth grade students at SDN 043 Cimuncang with the application of papercraft media, it was found that from 21 students were creative in making 7 different types of work, and when viewed from the creativity indicators as many as 13 students were able to fulfill more from 50% of creativity aspects based on creativity indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. Then based on the opinion of the class IV teacher that papercraft media can be applied in SBdP learning in class IV, namely in the form of three-dimensional works of art by applying learning to make papercraft works to students.
