Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi di era sekarang maju dengan sangat pesat. Seiring bertambah majunya ilmu pengetahuan serta penggunaan teknologi. Teknologi merambah ke berbagai bidang, tidak terkecuali pada bidang pendidikan. Media pembelajaran adalah alat yang bisa membantu proses belajar mengajar sehingga makna pesan yang disampaikan menjadi lebih dipahami dan tujuan pendidikan atau pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan efektif. Pada saat proses pembelajaran, peneliti mengamati metode belajar yang guru berikan terhadap peserta didik masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan hanya pemberian tugas. Melihat kelemahan metode ceramah yang saat ini dilakukan oleh sebagian pengajar atau guru, maka dari itu peneliti bertujuan untuk melakukan penelitian rancang bangun media pembelajaran “Jarvilan” berbasis mobile untuk kelas X SMK Program Keahlian DKV Mata Pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Desain Komunikasi Visual yang dimana hasil output dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran khususnya untuk kelas X DKV SMKN 4 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari 6 tahapan pengembangan yaitu concept (konsep), design (desain), material collecting (pengumpulan bahan materi), assembly (pembuatan), testing (pengujian), dan distribution (distribusi). Instrumen yang digunakan memakai lembar angket validasi dengan menggunakan perhitungan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian output yang dihasilkan berupa media pembelajaran untuk kelas X SMK Program Keahlian DKV pada Mata Pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Desain Komunikasi Visual. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan validator ahli media menunjukan bahwa tingkat kelayakannya sebesar 87,66% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” digunakan, sementara hasil pengujian ahli materi menunjukan bahwa tingkat kelayakannya 84% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” digunakan, lalu hasil uji respon kepada siswa kelas X DKV diperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 91.1% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” digunakan. Dengan ini menunjukan bahwa penelitian ini yang menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran “Jarvilan” berbasis mobile layak digunakan sebagai sarana pembelajaran. ----- Technological advances in the current era are advancing very rapidly. Along with the advancement of science and the use of technology. Technology penetrates into various fields, not least in the field of education. Learning media is a tool that can help the teaching and learning process so that the meaning of the message conveyed becomes more understood and the goals of education or learning can be achieved effectively. During the learning process, the researcher observed the learning method that the teacher gave to the students still using the lecture method and only giving assignments. Seeing the weakness of the lecture method that is currently being carried out by some teachers or teachers, therefore the researcher aims to conduct research on the design of mobile-based "Jarvilan" learning media for class X SMK DKV Expertise Program Subjects Basic Visual Communication Design which the output results can be used as a learning medium, especially for class X DKV SMKN 4 Bandung. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which consists of 6 stages of development, namely concept (concept), design (design), collecting material (collection of materials), assembly (manufacture), testing (testing), and distribution (distribution). ). The instrument used is a validation questionnaire using a Likert scale calculation. Based on the results of the research, the output produced is in the form of learning media for class X SMK DKV Expertise Program in Visual Communication Design Fundamentals. The results of tests conducted by media expert validators showed that the feasibility level of 87.66% with the "Very Eligible" category was used, while the results of the material expert test showed that the feasibility level of 84% with the "Very Eligible" category was used, then the results of the response test to class students X DKV obtained a feasibility level of 91.1% with the "Very Eligible" category used. This shows that this research which produces a mobile-based "Jarvilan" learning media product is feasible to be used as a learning tool.
