Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pengoptimalan materi peristiwa proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia di kelas V SD pada pembelajaran IPS melalui media berbasis Google Sites. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran oleh guru merupakan salah satu wujud usaha untuk mencapai keberhasilan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengembangkan media berbasis Google Sites pada pembelajaran IPS materi peristiwa proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia di kelas V SD. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode D&D (Design & Development) dengan tahapan penelitian berdasarkan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu Analyze (Analisis), Design, (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan), Implementation (Implementasi), dan Evaluation (Evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket. Hasil pengembangan media Google Sites mendapatkan interpretasi “sangat baik” dari penilaian ahli bahasa, ahli media, dan ahli materi. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dan respon pengguna yakni guru dan peserta didik kelas V media Google Sites pada pembelajaran IPS materi peristiwa proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia mendapatkan interpretasi “sangat baik” dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran berdasarkan indikator isi materi, penyajian, kebahasaan, tampilan, dan kualitas media. Media Google Sites membuat peserta didik antusias dan mudah digunakan saat pembelajaran IPS. ----- This research is motivated by optimizing the material for the Proclamation of Indonesian Independence in the 5th grade of elementary school in social studies learning -based media Google Sites. The use of technology in the use of learning media by teachers is one form of effort to achieve learning success. This research is a development research that develops media based Google Sites in social studies learning material for the proclamation of Indonesian independence in fifth grade elementary school. This research method uses the D&D (Design & Development) method with research stages based on the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze (Analysis), Design (Design), Development (Development), Implementation (Implementation), and Evaluation (Evaluation). Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The results of the development of Google Sites get an "excellent" interpretation from the assessment of linguists, media experts, and material experts. Based on the results of the assessment and user responses, namely teachers and students of class 5th media Google Sites in social studies learning the material for the proclamation of Indonesian independence got an "very good" interpretation and was suitable for use in learning based on indicators of material content, presentation, language, appearance, and media quality. Media Google Sites makes students enthusiastic and easy to use when learning social studies.
