Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of Online Field Experience Practice (PPL) during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) in the Kindergarten Class Teacher Study Position 2020. This research focuses on the implementation of online PPL which includes preparation, implementation, guidance/monitoring, reporting, as well as obstacles and solutions carried out by In-Position PPG participants in 2020. The data source was taken from 2020 In-Position PPG participants organized by the Indonesian Education University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the implementation is carried out through various stages such as planning, implementation, guidance and supervision, and reporting. Planning is done by preparing components that support online PPL activities including planning guidelines, indicators, themes, materials, approaches, learning activities, learning methods, Learning media, learning strategies, assessment tools/instruments, applications/teaching platforms, and non-teaching activities that must be oriented to HOTS and TPACK. The implementation is carried out in a three-Cycle format, each cycle consisting of initial activities, core activities, and closing activities with a duration of 30 minutes using the selected application/teaching platform. At the stage of guidance and implementation of the techniques/methods of guidance/monitoring used, tools/instruments and mechanisms of guidance/monitoring performed. The last stage is to report the results of learning practices and the time to report the results of the report is given. There are several obstacles encountered in the PPG implementation process such as the availability of electronic devices, application/platform Operation, Signal/internet connection interference, as well as creating, editing, and uploading online PPL report videos.
