Abstract
Wabah pandemi covid-19 sangat berdampak pada sektor pendidikan sehingga menghentikan proses belajar mengajar secara tatap muka. Hanya media power point yang digunakan oleh guru mata pelajaran gambar teknik SMK N 12 Bandung dengan bantuan zoom meeting sebagai wadah kegiatan belajar mengajar. Perubahan pola belajar mengakibatkan minat belajar siswa menurun dan semangat belajar siswa dirasa kurang. Sebuah solusi yang efektif ialah dengan memanfaatkan Canva For Education sebagai media pembelajaran yang mampu memberikan bantuan pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemanfaatan canva sebagai media pembelajaran daring dan bagaimana respon siswa mengenai pemanfaatan canva sebagai media pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dan data diperoleh secara survei. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri 12 Bandung di kelas Aircraft Machining yang mengalami pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 36 orang siswa. Pada proses persiapan nya ahli materi dan media memberikan hasil penilaiannya yang sangat layak dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 93 % dan 89 %. Penilaian respon siswa terhadap pemanfaatan canva sebagai media pembelajaran daring tergolong pada kategori sangat menarik dengan persentase sebesar 88 % dan penilaian kognitif pada peningkatan nilai siswa didapat persentase 87,8 % yang tergolong kategori sangat efektif. The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the education sector, thus stopping the face-to-face teaching and learning process. Only power point media used by teachers of technical drawing subjects at SMK N 12 Bandung with the help of a zoom meeting as a forum for teaching and learning activities. Changes in learning patterns resulted in decreased student interest in learning and students' enthusiasm for learning was felt to be lacking. An effective solution is to use Canva For Education as a learning medium that can provide assistance in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using Canva as an online learning medium and how students respond to using Canva as an online learning medium. The research method used is descriptive method and the data is obtained by survey. The subjects of this study were students of the 12 Bandung state vocational high school in the Aircraft Machining class who experienced online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. In the preparation process, material and media experts gave very decent assessment results with average values of 93% and 89%. Assessment of student responses to the use of Canva as an online learning medium is classified as very interesting with a percentage of 88% and cognitive assessments on increasing student scores are obtained by a percentage of 87.8% which is classified as very effective category.
