Abstract
Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai “Pengaruh Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bandung Wetan”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 172 guru dan sampel sebanyak 63 guru di SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bandung Wetan. Analisis perhitungan pada penelitian ini menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2019 dan SPSS versi 25.0 for Windows. Hasil perhitungan Weight Means Score (WMS) menunjukkan bahwa Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Sekolah dalam kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,30. Sedangkan untuk Kinerja Guru mempunyai nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,43 yang termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil dari analisis koefisien korelasi menyatakan bahwa hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bandung Wetan memiliki hubungan yang cukup kuat dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,500. Besarnya pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Bandung Wetan sebesar 25%. Hasil perhitungan signifikansi menghasilkan t_hitung sebesar 4,513 dan t_tabel dengan (dk = n – 2) sebesar 1,670 dimana koefisien korelasi dianggap signifikan apabila t_hitung ≥ t_tabel yaitu (4,513 > 1,670) maka Ho ditolak artinya signifikan. Persamaan regresi diperoleh Y ̂=25,108+0,495X dapat diartikan bahwa setiap penambahan satu poin variabel X (komunikasi Interpersonak Kepala Sekolah) maka nilai pada variabel Y (Kinerja Guru) bertambah sebesar 0,495. The general objective of this study is to obtain an overview of "The Effect of Principal Interpersonal Communication on Teacher Performance in State Junior High Schools throughout the Subdistrict Bandung Wetan". The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 172 teachers and a sample of 63 teachers in SMP Negeri Se-District Bandung Wetan. The calculation analysis in this study uses Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The results of the calculation of the Weight Means Score (WMS) indicate that the Principal's Interpersonal Communication is in the very good category with an average value of 4.30. Meanwhile, teacher performance has an average value of 4.43 which is included in the very good category. The results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient stated that the relationship between the principal's interpersonal communication and the performance of teachers in SMP Negeri Se-District Bandung Wetan has a fairly strong relationship with a correlation value of 0.500. The magnitude of the influence of the principal's interpersonal communication on the performance of teachers in SMP Negeri Se-District Bandung Wetan by 25%. The results of the calculation of the significance yield of 4.513 and with (dk = n – 2) of 1.670 where the correlation coefficient is considered significant if that is (4.513 > 1.670) then Ho is rejected which means it is significant. The regression equation obtained means that for every additional point in the variable X (interpersonal communication between the principal), the value on the Y variable (Teacher Performance) increases by 0.495.
