Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial dengan menggunakan model resource-based learning untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Kelas V SDN Sukaraya 03 kabupaten Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi experiment. Adapun instrunmen yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model resource based learning memiliki pengaruh cukup signifikan terhadap pemahaman konsep dan berfikir kritis siswa yang dibuktikan dengan hasil uji independent sampel T-test untuk kemampuan kolabrasi siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dan uji mann-witnney untuk kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa sebesar 0,00< 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifikan antara kelas ekperimen dan kontrol. Maka dari itumodel resource based learning sangat efektif diterapkan untuk melatih kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan berfikir kritis pada siswa. This study aims to determine the effect of social science learning by using a resource-based learning model to determine the ability to understand concepts and critical thinking skills of students in social science learning in Class V SDN Sukaraya 03 Bekasi district. This study uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental research design. The instruments used are tests and observations. The results of this study indicate that the resource based learning model has a significant influence on students' conceptual understanding and critical thinking as evidenced by the results of the independent sample T-test for the collaborating ability of experimental and control class students of 0.00 <0.05 and the Mann-Test test. Witnney for students' critical thinking skills of 0.00 <0.05, which means there is a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, the resource-based learning model is very effectively applied to train students' ability to understand concepts and think critically.
