Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rasa keingintahuan peneliti terhadap kemampuan siswa kelas IVB SD Laboratorium UPI Cibiru dalam menulis puisi. Serta pembelajaran menulis puisi di SD, terutama untuk materi menulis kreatif puisi yang menjadi sorotan. Guru dan siswa masih merasa kesulitan karena kurangnya penggunaan media dan metode pembelajaran menulis puisi ini. Padahal, salah satu metode yang mudah pun dapat dilakukan, misalnya metode estafet writing dan penggunaan media gambar. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis puisi siswa berdasarkan metode estafet writing menggunakan media gambar serta aktivitas siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menulis puisi menggunakan metode estafet writing dan media gambar. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mendeskripsikan aktivitas siswa serta hasil analisis struktur fisik dan struktur batin yang terdapat di dalam puisi karya siswa. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas kelas IVB SD Laboratorium UPI Cibiru. Objek penelitian berupa 4 teks puisi hasil tulisan siswa yang dibuat berdasarkan metode estafet writing menggunakan media gambar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tulis, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data dan pembahasan bahwa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menulis puisi menggunakan metode estafet writing dan media gambar siswa menjadi lebih aktif, antusias, dan semngat dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Kemudian, terhadap hasil analisis 4 puisi karya siswa, terdapat suatu hasil bahwa puisi yang ditulis oleh siswa memenuhi aspek struktur fisik dan struktur batin puisi. Keseluruhan hasil karya puisi siswa tersebut memenuhi aspek struktur fisik di antaranya tipografi, diksi, majas, kata konkret, imaji, dan rima. Selain itu, hasil karya puisi siswa juga memenuhi aspek struktur batin puisi yang terdiri dari tema, rasa, nada, dan amanat. ------- This research was motivated by the curiosity of the researcher on the ability of the IVB students of the Primary School Laboratory of UPI Cibiru in writing poetry. As well as learning to write poetry in elementary schools, especially for poetry creative writing materials that are in the spotlight. Teachers and students still find it difficult because of the lack of use of media and learning methods to write poetry. In fact, one of the easy methods can be done, for example the method of estafet writing and the use of image media. This study focuses on the analysis of students' poetry based on the serial writing method using image media and student activities in poetry writing learning activities using the estafet writing method and image media. The purpose of the research is to describe student activities and the results of the analysis of the physical structure and inner structure contained in the poetry of students' works. The subjects of this study were all students of class IVB Primary School Laboratory UPI Cibiru. The object of research is 4 poetry texts written by students which are made based on the estafet writing method using image media. This study uses a descriptive method through a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by written tests, observations, documentation studies, and literature studies. Based on data collection and discussion that in learning activities to write poetry using estafet writing methods and image media, students are more enthusiastic, and enthusiastic in participating in learning activities. Then, for the results of the analysis of 4 poems by students, there is a result that the poems written by students meet the aspects of the physical structure and inner structure of the poem. All of the students' poetry works fulfill aspects of physical structure including typography, diction, figure of speech, concrete words, images, and rhyme. In addition, the students' poetry also fulfills the aspect of the inner structure of the poem which consists of theme, feeling, tone, and message.
