Abstract

ABSTRAK Nilai sosial merupakan bagian dari penguatan karakter seseorang untuk membangun interaksi dengan sosialnya agar lebih harmonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis nilai sosial dalam sebuah novel yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bahan ajar pembelajaran novel di SMA kelas XII. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra dalam mendeskripsikan struktur dan nilai – nilai sosial yang terkandung dalam novel Disorder. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Disorder karya Akmal Nasery Basral. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Analisis data pada penelitian ini, yaitu analisis struktural menggunakan teori Stanton, dan analisis nilai – nilai sosial dalam novel Disorder dengan menggabungkan teori Wellek & Warren serta Zubaedi. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan adanya struktur novel yaitu sebagai berikut. (1) Alur campuran yang tercermin dari 225 sekuen dan 228 fungsi utama cerita. (2) Terdiri atas 54 tokoh yang memiliki tendensi signifikansi dalam setiap peristiwa cerita. (3) Latar tempat yang sering muncul sebanyak 22; Latar waktu yang sering muncul sebanyak 15; dan Latar sosial yang sering muncul sebanyak 6. (4) Tema yang diangkat yaitu sosial. (5) Judul yang digunakan yaitu Disorder. (6) Gaya bahasa yang sering digunakan yaitu personifikasi, perumpamaan, dan metafora. (7) Sudut pandang yang digunakan yaitu orang ketiga tidak terbatas. (8) Simbolisme yang digunakan tertera pada judul Disorder. (9) Ironi yang terkandung dalam novel yaitu ironi dramatis dan tone ironi. Nilai sosial yang dimiliki novel Disorder meliputi nilai pengabdian, tolong menolong, kekeluargaan, kepedulian, rasa memiliki, kejujuran, disiplin, empati, toleransi, kerja sama, dan persatuan. Kata kunci: bahan ajar, disorder, nilai sosial, novel ABSTRACT Social values are part of strengthening a person's character to build interaction with his social to be more harmonious. This study aims to analyze the social value in a novel that can be used in novel learning teaching materials in high school class XII. This research uses qualitative research methods with a literary sociology approach in describing the structure and social values contained in the novel Disorder. The data used is the novel Disorder by Akmal Nasery Basral. Data collection uses documentation and literature studies techniques. Data analysis in this study, namely structural analysis using Stanton's theory, and analysis of social values in the novel Disorder by combining the theories of Wellek & Warren and Zubaedi. The results of this study follows. (1) Mixed plot from 225 sequences and 228 main functions. (2) Consists of 24 characters who have a tendency to significance in each event of the story. (3) The settings that often appear are 6 place settings, 2 time settings, and 2 social settings (4) The theme raised is social. (5) The title used is Disorder. (6) The often used language styles are personifications, parables, and metaphors. (7) The point of view used is that the third person is not limited. (8) The symbolism used is stated in the title Disorder. (9) The irony contained in the novel is dramatic irony and tone irony. The social values of novel Disorder include of devotion, help, family, care, sense of belonging, honesty, discipline, empathy, tolerance, cooperation, and unity.
